  We should save our beautiful rain forests for many reasons. Many organisms, including us, are dependent on the resources they provide. First of all, rain forests are the homes of a lot of animals such as tree frogs and toucans. If we cut the rain forest down, we are also cutting their home down. That is not good because, if they don't have a shelter, they could die and an entire species can become extinct.
       Secondly, by destroying rain forests we also take away a vital resource, oxygen. Plants take in the carbon dioxide that we pollute into the environment. Then, they give off oxygen which animals like us need to survive. By cutting down the rain forests we also take away our oxygen supply. Without oxygen, many living things will die. This is why we need to save our rain forests.

We should not destroy our rainforests because a rainforest is home to trees and animals living in them. If we cut the trees there would be no oxygen because the trees make oxygen and the animals will die. Rainforest plants and trees give us medicine like the Chinchona trees which help us clear drug problems. Some animals also help us live better. The three toed sloth has some algae which could combat bad cancer cells. We all depend on these animals and plants. If we cut all the plants we might not have medicine or oxygen or a rainforest. The forest will turn into a desert. So listen to your heart and save the rainforests because plants and animals count too!
