         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Albedo</strong></div><div>Albedo is the proportion of radiation that is reflected by a surface<br><br>The greenhouse effect is a normal process which is necessary for the maintenance of the Earth's surface temperature. The effect is caused by gases in the atmosphere reducing heat losses by radiation back into space. They trap heat energy that is reflected from the Earth's surface, and reradiate some back into space some back to Earth. Greenhouse gases absorb infrared radiation radiated from the Earth's surface and pass this heat to other atmospheric gases.</div>]]></description>
