After watching the video I admit that I have a limited perspective on certain groups. I'm personally not into politics but am of the bias toward consersative parties. Many people I know are opposed to them. Instead of shunning them I'm interested in having dual perspectives about their beliefs. Regardless if I think they are true I feel it's good to see what the opposing side believes.  If I listen they may actually have some good points and my previous beliefs were a misunderstanding.

    2.   After reading the chapter I can definitely use it through the lens of the class. The chapters mentioned the processing of information.There are different ways in internalizing information and people have different processes. This brings me to the understanding that sometimes people might misunderstand a message when in fact there's more truth to it. That would be in fact the “single story” and I now plan to more carefully process information. It's even good to examine how others perceive and you could possibly compare and contrast with your ideas.
