I notice that in those 8 images that having something in common of the cross. I think that they have the cross is because so they think they are closer to Jesus and they worship him. This beliefs were important to the Byzantine Empire because they believe in the cross (Jesus ), since they want everything to go the right way in life so they prey to him.

I noticed on all those 8 images that 1 of the themes are all about Christianity. Most of the pictures shows Mary holding Jesus or how they worship him. Some of the pictures shows Jesus holding the bible and other christian stuff and some shows symbols the represents something about Christianity. This is important to the byzantine empire because they believe in Jesus so they prey to Jesus and the byzantine empire also read the bible.

There are bunches images of Jesus and Mary being shown in most of the images. Which makes me think that in the Byzantine Empire Jesus, Mary, and even God might be icons to salvation/ heaven or just things thought to be as holy beings.

One of the themes are how the main religion seems to be Christianity. Most of the pictures are of either virgin Mary or other pictures that include christian symbols. Most are about pope in a church worshiping Jesus, or the birth of Jesus, and even grown up Jesus himself.

I noticed how the Byzantines represented their religious beliefs in such artwork.All the images of the Eastern Orthodox beliefs all relate to Jesus and how they thought Jesus looked like.This set of artwork represents how Byzantines and their religious beliefs all relate.
These beliefs are all important to the Byzantines as religion was an important part of their life and it was part of almost everybody's life. Artwork represented their golden age,their greatness,and that is what's important to them. It's what represents them and makes them proud.

A theme that seems to be occurring in each of the eight images seem to be all containing some form of religious belief. Many of the images display a symbolic scene or have some sort of religious item like crosses. The Byzantine were very religious people and their lives were influenced by religion, which is why religion is so important to these people.

One of the themes I noticed that there is mostly the neutral dark colors, that most of the pictures used. The other, is that they use their religion for most of the pictures or paintings.

They are important because they might want to express on what they believed in to, maybe, show others how important Christianity is. That could be their culture and their way of living.

I am seeing a lot religion being involved within the arts and also buildings that people have been constructing. Most them also showed how art was really something that they would almost always use Christianity in. They also had important people that they believed in within the pictures such as Jesus or God himself.
I feel it is this way back then because they were heavily influenced by their religion not only in pictures and architectures but also in daily life and special events that occur.

I noticed in the 8 images of Eastern Orthodox, the theme all had to do something with religious rights, for example, a painting of Jesus, a man who is reading a Greek prayer book, and even a patriarch preparing for "Easter mass" . These beliefs were important to people in the Byzantine Empire because within it's religion, finding a will in life and believing in God for the good. Though, people were considered divided from the east to west, especially traveling became dangerous.

I noticed that most of the pictures include something with a golden-like color, maybe to suggest that religion is precious to them. It can also suggest that the Eastern Orthodox is greater than other religions.

All of them represent something in the gospel. Many show Jesus and Mary together or apart. Which could mean that they were the ones that did something large.

These beliefs could be important to the people because they did something big that changed how they lived. Mary and Jesus must of did something, causing their lives to be better. Which makes the people believe in them so much.

I notice that most 8 images are grand and colorful and most of these seemed to represent the Christians. Most of the pictures on the postcard looks like it is insider the Hagia Sophia Church. The 8 images are also very religious.

These pictures show many things in the Orthodox belief from how they have important events and what they did with their religious belief. They may always do these things from how they would always follow their belief and what they did. If these belief were on the rules of what they did they wouldn't be able to have such and organized division belief and would have crumble really fast. For example they were some belief of using gold, on all the picture there was some sort of gold, that was probably important color to their religion.
