It has been a while since I baked cakes, cupcakes and muffins. If I had the opportunity again, I would like to attend baking classes to refresh my baking skills. I would love to focus on making two-tiered cakes and thematic cupcakes. It would help me to destress and enjoy myself at the same time.

After a long time, I decided to play chess again. Setting up the board brought back great memories, and though I was a bit rusty, the strategies slowly came back to me. It felt refreshing to think ahead, plan moves and enjoy the challenge of the game again. Revisiting chess reminded me how much I enjoy its blend of logic and strategy.

3 years ago, I tried kayaking with my mom for the first time in my life. Although it was tiring and my arms where paining, it was still a very fun experience. To do kayaking we went to MBS where a kayaking trainer thiught us how to handle a kayak. My mom and I fell off the kayak a bunch of times , we got the hang of it soon. I would love to continue doing kayaking.

This year for my birthday,I went rock climbing with my mother and father at downtowneast,before I started,I had a quick lesson on all of the safety measurements and begin climbing.At first,I was not doing well but towards the middle and the end,I started getting the hang of it and finally after a long period of time,I managed to up to the top and reach my goal.After this experience,I vowed to myself to definitely come back and play again.

Just last year, my mother introduced me to floorball. She brought me to floorball training. Although it was difficult at first, I soon got a hang of it. Before long, it became my hobby. I would often meet up with my friends in the park near my home to play a round or two of floorball. Even though I stopped going to floorball trainings due to my examinations and preparation for PSLE, after PSLE, I would definitely continue building on my interest.

Last year, I went bowling with my family. I had not experienced bowling before, and I nearly slipped and fell because I didn't know that I had to wear special bowling shoes to prevent slipping. The floor is slippery, making it difficult for the bowling ball to roll and reducing friction. An old man saw that I was struggling to bowl and kindly taught me the secret to bowling. I thanked him for the assistance, and now I could bowl professionally. I vowed to definitely come back to the bowling alley to play again.

8 Years ago, my mother decided to get me a pet as I would be very lonely at home by myself. A month later, she got me a smart golden retriever. At that point in time, I freaked out because I thought the dog would attack me. But instead, my mother introduced me to the dog, and I got used to it over time.

3 years ago, I started taking taekwondo lessons. I was excited to try something new and learn some cool kicks and punches. My instructor, Master Tan, was very friendly and taught us how to do the moves correctly. As I practiced, I felt happy and energetic. I liked learning new techniques and trying to do them better each time. The classes were fun and challenging, and I enjoyed being with my friends who were also learning. Looking back, I think I learned a lot and had a good time, and I would definitely take up taekwondo lessons again after PSLE.

I would like to try planespotting again. The last time I went to Changi Beach Park to go planespotting, I forgot to bring my camera, so I could not record the landings of various aircraft. Even though I went there during the March holidays, I could not do much planespotting due to multiple factors such as the sunlight, the landing schedule of Changi Airport and time constraints. I enjoy planespotting as I am an aviation enthusiast and to me, seeing my favourite aircraft and airline(A350 and Singapore Airlines) and hearing the sounds of the aircraft engines are just pure satisfaction which can help me relieve my stress.( I know a lot of people find that weird:D)

I recently tried a pottery class and it was harder than I thought. I'd never worked with clay before, but it was fun to shape and mold it. As I worked on my project, I felt relaxed and enjoyed the process. I started with a simple bowl and then tried to make a small vase. It wasn't easy, but I liked seeing my creation come to life. When it was done, I felt proud of myself. It was a great way to unwind and be creative. I'm thinking of going back to class again soon.

If I had the chance to try something new, I'd love to go bungee jumping. The idea of jumping off a high place and feeling the rush is really exciting to me. It would be a challenge and a chance to face my fears.

I think it would be an intense experience, but also thrilling. If I could try bungee jumping, I think it would be an adventure I'd never forget and would make me feel proud of myself.

Last year me and yiqian took part in the healthy plate cooking competition.I had not ever tried cooking before but i wanted to experience it.Without hesitation,I volunteered to join with yiqian.At first we did not know waht to prepare.For the solution,we had alot of zoom meetings to prepare for the competition of the cooking competition.At last we came to a decision that we waould cook saffron rice,with homemade teriyaki tofu as our main dish and have fruit salad and mango puree for sides.I cooked the rice and the salad while yiqian made the puree and tofu.When the day arrive we started preparing our dishes.We manage to finish them in the time limit and arrange them well on plates.When the judges came, they were amazed by our dishes.After they left our station, they moved on to other stations,I was nervous as some of their dishes were better looking than ours.After a long wait,we heard the results.They gave out the certifications of paticipations and moved on to top 3.To our surprise,we got second place.I was over the moon.Not bad for a person who has never cooked before.And congratulations to the team that got first. :D

Last year, my family and I went to go hiking during the December holidays. When we reached the top of the view was so pretty and worth the effort hiking. At the top I could feel the strong wind blowing at me, I also saw the waves slamming hard against the rocky shore. When I tried to get a closer look, I stepped on a rock to get a closer look, I slipped and almost fell all the way down. When I looked from the top the trees looked like broccoli, and the people below looked like ants. If I had the chance to hike again I would definitely, do it again to experience it all over again.

I would try go to look at the Grand Canyon, watch meter showers or go look at the Auroa Falls as it is a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness these events. These events make me feel how nature is magnificent for creating these places to exist and how lucky I feel to visit them in person and not just from a screen. I feel like I will be shocked beyond words seeing these events happen right before my eyes so if I had the chance to, I would try to go to these magnificent places.

During the March Holidays, I went overseas to take a break from studying. My parents claimed that the place they were taking me was a "pleasant" surprise. I took an overnight bus for 8 hours and arrived in the morning. It was a mountain, a really tall one. We were hiking up one of the steeper mountains in the area. I did not complaint at first, but once I started climbing, I started to feel uncomfortable. The route was filled with leaves and branches blocking my sight. To normal people, these parts of nature would not be a big problem, but to me, it was like a phobia. It was uncomfortable and I requested to descend. My parents agreed because the route would take approximately 8 hours over some very rough terrains. I would not go to these places again, as it may be traumatic to me.

On Friday after school i went to eat lunch at Our Tampines Hub and went to eat at one of the shop. i had rice with satay and it was so good it became one of my top 10 food list. i would definitely go back to that shop again when i have the chance.

about 8 to 10 years ago, my father introduced me to fishing. At first, i did not know how to control the rod and how to fish. After years of being taught and catching my own fish, I now know how to reel in the fish and cast the rod. My father is thinking of bringing me back to the pond to fish on one of the public holidays.

When I was 7 years old,I tried cycling,at first it was very tough as I can’t balance on the bicycle while I was riding so my grandfather decided to help me by holding the back of the bicycle.When I finally can balance and ride for long distance I feel very happy and very proud.Although the process of leaning how to ride a bicycle is hard but when I master it,it is all worth it.

So, I put on gloves before touching it. A few days later, I decided to take off my gloves and touch it. It bit me a few times, but I got used to it and now it doesn’t bite me anymore.

Last year , when I tried kayaking during camp , it was harder than i thought it would be . The weather was very hot and i was sweating a lot . But luckily i was in the batch which got to kayak since it did not rain . It was very hard to kayak , especially since neil wanted to be first place although it was not a race . But after the expedience, i think i would like to try kayaking again.

Last year during the school holidays, I went to Taiwan. This experience was different from Singapore in multiple ways.Most notably the much lower temperature. This was a major change from what I normally did.An example of this was having to wear a jacket when going outside.I had a good time there,though there were many changes to my daily life i had to make for the duration of the trip.

During the P5 camp last year, I tried kayaking for the first time. I was not as easy as I expected and I was worried about falling into the water. The instructor definitely made sure we worked together with our partner to make our experience easier. There were a few challenges such as going in the correct direction and against the waves. Despite these challenges, I had fun and I learnt the importance of teamwork.

3 years ago, I joined the CCA Guzheng. I found it very challenging and I did not know how to play the instrument. However, all my instructors and friends were very friendly. With their help and guidance, I finally got the hang of it. In primary six, we will be stopping CCA soon. I enjoyed learning with my friends during CCA and playing the Guzheng. Looking back, I had learnt a lot and had a good time with my friends, I would definitely take up Guzheng lessons again after PSLE.

Around 5 years ago, my parents bought me a bicycle. At that time, I did not know how to cycle. My parents encouraged me to try biking for the first time. Eventually, I relented and gave it a shot. At first, I was constantly falling down and even injured myself. With my parents encouragement, I persevered and finally learnt to ride a bike. To this day, I still enjoy cycling.

Recently, I went to a place called Adventure Park with my friends. I had never been and heard that place before. Reaching there, we firstly got to know the safety rules of the park, before we got to do the challenging and exciting parkours. At first, I was not able to do well and was not able to catch up with my friends but after a alot of hardwork and dedication, I was finding the parkours as easy as cake.

Me and my friends had a whale of a time in the end and to wrap up the wonderful day, we had our favourite, and mouth watering ice cream.

I started gardening and planted my first herb garden, with basil, mint, and rosemary. Watching the seeds sprout and the plants grow has been incredibly fulfilling. Nurturing them and seeing the fruits of my labor has been a joy. It's a peaceful hobby that connects me to nature, provides fresh herbs for cooking, and offers a sense of accomplishment. Plus, being outdoors and surrounded by greenery is a great stress reliever!

Trying something new means stepping out of your comfort zone and doing something you’ve never done before. It could be as simple as talking to someone new, or as big as joining a new sport or learning a musical instrument. At first, it might feel uncomfortable or even scary, because we don’t know what will happen or if we’ll be good at it.

But I think it’s really important to try new things because that’s how we learn and grow. When we try something new, we give ourselves the chance to discover talents we didn’t know we had. We also learn how to deal with challenges and how to keep going even when things are hard.

For example, I once tried public speaking, even though I was really nervous. I made some mistakes, but afterwards I felt proud that I tried. Now I feel more confident speaking in front of people.

So even if something seems difficult or unfamiliar, trying it can help you become more confident, experienced, and open to new opportunities.

When I was in primary 3, I had to pick a CCA, I decided to pick hockey as it was something I never thought I would be able to try. During the first few days of training, I felt nervous and thought that my seniors would make fun of me. But the actually gave me some tips to work on my ball control and helped me everything I was struggling with. They were actually very friendly and with their patience and help, I was able to get the hang of it and even started to shoot some goals. In a nutshell, I am very happy to have chosen hockey as my CCA.

When I was p1 I decided to try playing tennis for the first time. I had always watched others play but never picked up a racket myself. The first few times, I was pretty clumsy—my serves were off, and I kept missing the ball. But after a couple of lessons and practicing with friends, I started to improve. I learned the importance of persistence and not being afraid to look silly at first. It was also a great reminder that skills take time to develop. I’ve kept playing ever since, and I’ve really enjoyed the challenge it brings.

A time that I tried something new was snorkeling in Tioman islands with my friends and family. At first a lot of water went into my mouth and it tasted really salty.then I started using the breathing device properly.

Last year, I went to my cousin's house. She thought me how to bake for the first time. I had never tried baking before and was always wanted to try it out. The first cupcake that I baked was not as bad as I thought woud have turn out. After decorating it, I was proud of my firsst ever cupcake that was made by me from scratch.

Last year, I tried skateboarding. At first, I was scared because I had no experience in skateboarding. That was the first time I was even stepping onto a skateboard. Before the instructor came, I tried to skateboard a few times. Of course I fell on all of the attempts. Afterwards, the instructor came.

I was glad that I had tried skateboarding before the instructor came, because I got the hang of it. The teacher was kind and taught me gently. I learnt so much that she even let me try out the ramp which was scary but also exciting at the same time. After the exam PSLE finishes, I think that I will go for another session of skateboarding.
