Our students need to be in control of themselves, the decisions that they make and the potential consequences. We do our children no favours by making excuses up or excusing them for bad behaviour, failure to submit assessment, foul language, smoking or incorrect uniform. By excusing tamariki we set them up for failure later on in life.
