I also love that every lesson is different and that you are constantly learning new facts in each task you do. The creative tasks are also great, and I love that there is always a chance to work with your friends or in groups and share your ideas.

I like history because it is something I’m interested about. I find it fun and interactive, with many interesting lessons, questions and ideas. An example of why I like it as a subject is studying World War 1 as it covers how England reached toward victory and how England has developed as a country.

I like history due to its diverse topics, as well as the exciting lessons. The subject ranges from local, British and international history, we are currently learning more about Merseyside during WW1, creating an exciting atmosphere. There is something for everyone in history!

I  love teaching all year groups and have numerous favourite topics, the First World War being one. However, my favourite year 7 topic has to be the mystery of the princes in the tower and how they simply disappeared.

Studied History at the Unviersity of Manchester.
I've been at Christ the King for many years, I enjoy teaching Year 7 about Castles and Castle construction, and about what life was like for ordinary people during Medieval times. My other interests include European History, especially the history of Germany and Russia. 




Mrs Panah. Teacher of History.
Studied at the University of Liverpool.
I've always had a love of History and being a teacher and telling stories about the past is brilliant. My favourite topics are the Industrial Revolution and the Slave Trade. In Year 7 my favourite topic to teach is Medieval Crime and Punishment as it is so interesting to learn about all the weird and peculiar ways people behaved hundred of years and how those in charge dealt with it.

Mr Fairclough. Teacher of History.
I studied History at Liverpool John Moore's University. I have a real passion for all history, but I especially enjoy modern history, such as WW2 and the Cold War. I love teaching year 7s about the Peasants' Revolt and the Black Death, so they can learn about how events such as these had a major impact on the lives of different people in England.

Year 8 - The mill
Year 9 and 10 Battlefileds trip to Flanders field to witness the sacrifices of our lost generation int he first world war.
Year 10 and year 11 Berlin and Poland to study the impact of the Nazi regime upon Germany and Poland, particularly focusing on the Holocaust.

Italy 1911- 1945
Experience of warfare 1790-1918
Russian coursework-Russia in Revolution.
