After finishing my practicum period this year, I can sum it up as being the best learning experience I ever had. I think I will remember it for the rest of my life.
   The experience was divided into three different levels. Firstly, I was placed in a kindergarten school called Luna Gorda. Then I move into a primary school N°310 and finally I go to a secondary school known as Amuyen. 
  I must admit that at the very beginning of the practicum period I was terrified. Fortunately, the local teachers were fantastic and I have learned a lot from watching them working. 

  One of the things I liked best along this practicum period was that students were so welcoming with me. That makes me feel happy and calm. 
   Looking back, now I can see how much I have learned since those first days at the kindergarten period. Seeing my last lessons at secondary school certainly they let me know how much improvement I have made. I tried to use new strategies and took the hints provided by both the local and the guide teachers.   

  Something very important I have learned for future lessons is that having students actively engaged is a large part of learning. 
I also believe that collaboration is key for learning. Having students working together may facilitate problem solving. 
    My essons opened for different backgrounds and needs of the students. I worked collaboratively with the local teacher and my guide teacher when designing my lesson plans and designing the activities. Of course first I got to know about learners´ strengths and weaknesses as a group. 

   My philosophy of teaching is just to promote learning. I want to foster critical thinking skills into my students. 
  I have had little experience teaching and with more experience I hope to evolve into a better teacher and gain knowledge

  From my point of view students develop language through social interaction.  So, they need to be collaborating with their peers in order to teach each other and build learning experiences. Students also  need to be able to reflect and express their feelings when learning.
 

 Finally I would like to thank all those people who helped and believed in me. I promise I will give my best.
