         <description><![CDATA[<div>When kids first saw the equation, they were overwhelmed, but after we listened to the song, they found using the formula to be "less scary."  As students worked on practice problems, I had the song playing in the background.  By the end of the lesson, students were singing along and had a better understanding of how to use the formula. </div>]]></description>

Prior to that we had them conduct an error analysis of problems that were factored incorrectly.  We have many ideas for our upcoming lessons on Quadratic formula, but haven't implemented them yet.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Alg 33 7th Grade</div><ul><li>Quadratic Song (pop the weasel) All must sing</li></ul><div><br>Did play multiple quadratic songs and had the kids sing along.&nbsp; Some did memorize and sing randomly now so did work for some.</div><div><br></div><ul><li>Unscramble steps of a quadratic problem showing all steps (students will put it in order in groups)</li></ul><div><br>Students worked in assigned groups to identify mistakes/correct order.
