The 4 of us started our roles as children's SPLW at the start of lockdown and despite this we have worked so well as a team and have created a brand new social prescribing service for children and young people in Cumbria called LINK. The team have done an amazing job and we launch the service in 2 weeks time! Feel proud to be a part of a great team :)

I'm amazed by the resilience and positivity of the Link Workers I've met and worked with over the last few months. It’s not been an easy journey. For those of you that have worked in isolation to set up a service and support so many people during lock down - well done! For others that have adapted their approach but remained positive and focused and it’s fair to say at times it’s been tough - you've got through it! Supporting each other has been key throughout recent months and I'm so proud of you all and to be part of our Social Prescribing community. To all SP National Team, my RLC colleagues, to the Link Workers in Derby/shire, Leicester/shire & Rutland, Lincoln/shire Nottingham/shire and Northampton/shire, and to you all - I salute you - every day you're working hard to making a difference to someone's life!
