I love this style of writing, because it shows different peoples thought and feeling about a specific topic. Like in Schooled, it talks about Ms. Zach, Cap, Hugh, Naomi's points of view. As well as in Restart, it shows Brendan, Shoshanna, Chase, and Aaron's point of view. I also like how Korman foreshadows how different characters might turn out by hinting at it with their last names in both Schooled and Restart. For example, Hugh Winkleman, he went behind Caps back and set him up. Winking can be used when people are talking about secretes. In Restart, Brendan Espinoza, Espinoza kinda sounds like Espionage, which is a video game. For exapmle in Schooled Rain was keeping Cap away from the outside world so he didn't know anything abut the modern day world. It also seems that both of the households in Schooled and Restart, the place the characters stay seem very crazy or "different";
the mother and father at war - Sophie yelling at Cap every chance she gets.
There are also some characters who have similar traits; such as Cap and Chase bath being clueless to the world, and Brendan and Hugh both being more of the weird or geeky kid.

For example, he uses first person point of view that switches between characters. Also, he likes to use names creatively to help describe their personalities. For example, Chase Ambrose. Look at Ambrose. The first part of the name, am, could stand for amnesia. The second part of the name, brose, could stand for his bros, Bear and Aaron. In schooled, Zach Power's last name could stand for him having all of the power in the school. This means he is, or was, the most popular person in Claverage Middle School. Also, the form he writes in is very similar in the two novels. In both of them, he goes into very detailed explanations as to what the character is feeling and how it effects them. Those are some of the best similarities between the two novels.

In Restart, he also starts off with chase hurting himself and in Schooled rain hurts herself. Chase is also like cap because they both go into a new setting and don't know anything about it until they spend a little time around the people in that setting. chase already knew he just forgot but cap didn't know because he was home schooled his whole life.       BIG FELLOW
