http://livingonone.org/changeseries/#.WNWV3NArLnC

Summary: 1.1 billion people live on less than one dollar a day. 1 out of 10 people in the world can not get fresh clean water. Living on one dollar a day prevents these people from getting fresh water from reliable sources. This may lead to diseases for these people and prevent them from going on with their daily routines.

UDHR: I believe the people living in one dollar a day should have the right to Article #3, Article #6, Article #7, and Article #25.

Observations: I was surprised of the fact that the person actually attempted to live in one dollar a day. To see the struggles the people go through and to see if the people in developed countries can handle the situation the people in undeveloped, developing countries can handle or are just living in.

Further Questions: After having a look at how the people in Guatemala have been living, it makes me wonder how the people survive without getting the nutrition they need. They do find ways to consume more calories with the food they have which was interesting to know. But, how long will this last them?

Wiesel is a Holocaust survivor and he shares the experiences he went through of the concentration camps and how brutal it was. The long harsh journey with his father in the concentration camps are touching and sad. His relationship with God was very unstable in his times at the concentration camp. Wiesel was also a human rights activist.

UDHR: I believe the people in the Holocaust should have had the rights to Article #3, Article #6, Article #7, and Article #25.

Observations: Wiesel's traumatizing experiences in the Nazi concentration camp is something nobody should ever experience. The fact the UDHR was established after the Holocaust is interesting. I can't believe there weren't any rights like this before the event.

Further Questions: Why were rights like these not established previously?
