Power-points designed by the learners. The learners will be expected to design Power-points to present in class as summaries of each learning unit. whilst presenting they will assume the role of the teacher and i will then be able to assess their level of discussion, conversation and questioning techniques

Comprehension strategies

ProProfs' online quizzes. At the end of each lesson the learners will be expected to take a quiz relating to that day's content and again a bigger quiz on Fridays that addresses everything learned during the week.

Read-write connections
E-books. The learners will each be given an e-book to read on their spare time; preferably a novel. each learner will be expected to write a summary of every chapter they  have read every other week.

Motivation and engagement
Kahoot.it this interactive tool will be used during the lessons. As an interactive and competitive game, the learners will be told before hand the content that will be assessed during the game so they can prepare at home in anticipation of the game.
