In this activity you will be asked to come up with a teaching tool that will address the needs of your partner. Using these guide questions, your partner should answer your questions by commenting in your post.
1. If you are given the opportunity to have a device that would address your most pressing concern in your teaching, what tool would it be?
2. What specific features should it have? Why?

In this remote learning, the human dimension of the interaction was greatly reduced. Thus, I cannot see how 'social' groups are formed within the learners. I would not see who are socially connected or those who seem to be 'loners' or 'sidelined'. These social cues are important in creating an active learning environment. I wish there is a technology which can simulate actual movements in classrooms.

Just like the game, "The Sims", in this virtual environment, 'students' move around, choose where to 'sit', or 'approach' who they want to talk to. I think I have seen this one time when I attended the virtual summer school, where we have a simulated coffee area. We were able to move around and chat with one another. Those who are 'shy' were easily spotted and encouraged to group with others.

A Veterinary Pharmacology tablet that can be used by students as an all-in-one device when computing for drug doses. Usually, students need to open or use different references (hard copies, e-books, online references) to get the information needed to compute the dose of a specific drug in a cat, dog, etc. Having a device that would contain these references and a built-in calculator would be useful and save time in doing the process.
