That flag was formed through a history of the UK.
Hmm.. I will summarize about history for this flag.
Firstly, the flag of England has the symbol of St George's cross, becoming a red cross on a white blackground, like the flag Great Britain. Then, it based on the flag of Saint Andrew and had a white diagonal for Scotland ,on a blue background.
If you look carefully, you can see that: a combination of the crosses of three patron saints: St. George, St. Andrew & St.Patrick. The famous clock of St.Stephen's Tower of the Houses of Parliament was named after Sir Benjamin Hall-the Chief Commissioner of Work.

I make a good impression and don't understand why is called Big Ben? Big Ben was so familiar to many people, not only British people but aslo tourists around the world.

In addition, a cultural symbol show about the stability,security and demoracy of the UK as well as parliamentary democracy.

The structures of Big Ben include in: square stone block with side of 7m, together with 312 pieces of white glass. The bronze minute hand is 4.3m long and the hour hand is2.74m. It's quite vintage and prominent.
