Individualistic culture is when it is normalized or almost expected in a certain culture for people to put theirselves above the community or family. In cultures where individualism is valued people like to be independent and to stand out as an individual. The United States and the Republic of South Africa are both examples of countries where individualism is important, I have lived in both countries and consider Individualistic culture to be one of my cocultures.

From the article 'The importance of intercultural Communication Training to the Global Workforce'.
"Intercultural communication training is very important to break down cultural barriers and building awareness of cultural norms, as well as communication skills. Communication training allows a person to adopt their skill set." (Sinden, 2021, p.4) In this quote the author is trying to explain how working with others from other nations can help a persons ability to deal across the cultures. Cultural training improves ones relationships with host nationals. Intercultural training reduces the risk of miscommunication. Cultural understanding is the key to manage the business more effectively.
Individualist cultures stress the importance of each person taking care of his or her self without depending on others for assistance. In the other hand people that listen, without challenge, are the collectivistic cultures.
collectivistic cultures.
They tend to be more attentive to and concerned with the opinions of significant others
People that are from individualistic cultures tend to view their primary responsibility as being to themselves.

References.

The Importance of Intercultural Communication Training to the Global Workforce.

Intercultural miscommunication is very common in our society, specially in the US where there are many cultures. Language has a major impact on culture miscommunication, most individuals fail to communicate due to language barriers. For example, when I first arrived in the US it was very difficult as I didn't speak the language. The video below shows a perfect example of cultural misunderstanding, each culture does things differently. Most people may view certain things as "wrong doings" because a certain culture does them, but in reality they're just different. Most people will manage to get along better if they develop patience and judge less.

Here we have a perfect example of an ultimate intercultural miscommunication, as seen in the photo there are few collides of differences here. First, we can witness the language barrier. second, we see the space respect aspect. Third, body language as we can see each individual has different body language and signals that the other one won't understand.

Reference.
A wonderful world of communication

Moran, R., Harris, P., & Moran, S.

Collectivist Culture is understood to be the collective efforts of a small community or group. Putting emphasize on the goals of everyone not just one particular individual. Unlike Individualistic culture where the goals of ONE individual is the focus. This culture is practice in places like Pakistan, Swedan, Korea, Japan, and several others.

References
Verywell Mind

Kendra Cherry (March 24, 2020).

To explain my audio recording I will like to say unlike other cultures, with an individualistic culture the individual goal is to to focus on his or her task and and come out of it successfully. This can be well understood from my scenario audio recording when I made mention of the point where the carrier woman decided to let go of her culture when she is fully a wear that her place is suppose to be but at home, she rather decided to focus but on her carrier this shows that she miscommunicated her culture and as such it shows she is some one from an individualistic culture, unlike the other woman who only abide to her culture rules knowing fully well that is suppose to do so says her culture.
by
Glenholden.
