İlk olarak 1949 yılında geçici bir binada Muzura İlkokulu olarak birleştirilmiş sınıflı ilkokul olarak eğim öğretime başlanmıştır. 1995 yılında yapılan yeni binada ilkokul ve ortaokul birleştirilmiş ve okulun ismi Doğanköy İlköğretim Okulu olmuştur. 2012 yılında eğitim sistemimizde yapılan değişiklik üzerine aynı binada Doğanköy İlkolulu ve Doğanköy Ortaokulu olmak üzere iki ayrı okulu barındırmak suretiyle faaliyetine devam etmektedir.
Okulumuz 18 derslikli bir ilköğretim okulu olarak inşa edilmiştir. Dersliklerin yanı sıra 2 idare odası, 1 kütüphane,1 ders araçları odası,1 fen ve teknoloji laboratuarı,1 spor ve rehberlik odası,1 çok amaçlı salon,1 öğretmenler odası,1 çay odası,1 ziyaretçi odası ,1 yemekhane mevcuttur. Mevcut okulumuzda 18 sınıf bulunmakta olup, ikinci kademe için derslik sistemi oluşturulmuştur. Ayrıca ilkokulumuzda her sınıftan ikişer şube yer almaktadır. Okulumuz tam gün normal eğitim- öğretim yapmakta olup sınıflara düşen öğrenci sayısı ortalama olarak 15- 20' dir. Okulumuz taşıma merkezi bir ilköğretim okuludur.
DOGANKOY PRIMARY SCHOOL- TURKEY

Education was first started in a temporary building in 1949 as a primary school with classrooms combined as Muzura Primary School. In the new building constructed in 1995, primary and secondary schools were combined and the name of the school became Doğanköy Primary School. It continues to operate by hosting two separate schools, Doğanköy Primary and Doğanköy Secondary School, in the same building, following the change made in our education system in 2012.
Our school was built as a primary school with 18 classrooms. In addition to the classrooms, there are 2 administration rooms, 1 library, 1 teaching equipment room, 1 science and technology laboratory, 1 sports and guidance room, 1 multi-purpose hall, 1 teachers' room, 1 visitor room, 1 dining hall.

Akçaabat Doğanköy İlkokulu 3-B sınıfıyız.9 erkek ve 7 kız olmak üzere 16 kişiyiz.Eğlenceli, duyarlılığı yüksek, yardımsever, doğa dostu bir sınıfız. We are 3-B class in Akçaabat Doğanköy Primary School. We are 16 people, 9 boys and 7 girls.

1977 İstanbul doğumluyum. Öğretmenliğe 2002 yılında başladım. 2006 yılından beri Trabzon'da görev yapmaktayım. Çocuklarla bir arada olmayı, onlarla keşfetmeyi ve öğrenmeyi çok eğlenceli buluyorum. Bu sebeplerle kendim için en doğru olabilecek mesleklerden birini seçtiğimi düşünüyorum.
El becerisi isteyen çalışmalara ilgim ve yeteneğim yüksektir. Düzenli ve koordineli çalışmak beni huzurlu hissettirir. Doğayı severim ve doğayı koruma hususunda farkındalığım yüksektir. Öğretmenliğim boyunca öğrencilerime de aynı farkındalığı aşılamaya çalışmışımdır. Bu sebeple her yıl Yavru TEMA Projesi'nde yer alırız. Ben ve sınıfım , ilgi alanımızda olan konuları ele alacağından WABC Projesi'nde yer almaktan heyecan duyuyoruz.
Umarım verimli, eğlenceli ve farkındalık yaratan bir proje ortaya koyarız.
I was born in 1977 in Istanbul. I started teaching in 2002. I have been working in Trabzon since 2006. I find it very fun to be together with children, to discover and learn with them. For these reasons, I think I chose one of the professions that would be right for me.
I have a high interest and ability in works that require manual skill. Working regularly and in coordination makes me feel at peace. I love nature and I have a high awareness of nature conservation. Throughout my teaching, I tried to instill the same awareness in my students. For this reason, we take part in the Yavru TEMA Project every year. I and my class are excited to be involved in the WABC Project as it will address the topics of our interest.
I hope we will create an efficient, fun and awareness-raising project.

Geri dönüşümle ilgili pek çok video izledik. Geri dönüşüm neden gerekli? Bizler neler yapabiliriz? soruları üzerine tartıştık. mindmeister web 2.0 aracını kullanarak "Geri Dönüşüm Nedir?" ve "Geri Dönüşüm Malzemeleri Nelerdir?" konulu zihin haritaları oluşturduk.
We watched many videos about recycling. Why is recycling necessary? What can we do? We discussed over the questions. Using the mindmeister web 2.0 tool "What is Recycling?" and "What Are the Recycled Materials?" We created mind maps on the subject.

Proje ön anketlerimizi hem velilerimize hem de öğrencilerimize uyguladık. Anketlerimiz için google forms aracını kullandık. Anket sonuçlarını değerlendirerek raporlaştırdık.

Afiş ve Logo Çalışmalarımız- Our Poster and Logo Works

Projemize ait afiş ve logo çalışmaları yaptık. Bunun için önce öğrenciler geri dönüşüm ile ilgili serbest resimler yaptılar.Sonra isteyen öğrencilerin resimleriyle katıldıkları bir anket yaptık ve afişimizde kullanmak üzere birini seçtik. Daha sonra canva web 2.0 aracını kullanarak zoom üzerinden sınıfımıza ait proje afiş ve logosunu tasarladık.
We made poster and logo works for our project. For this, first the students made free pictures about recycling. Then we made a questionnaire with the pictures of the students who wanted to and we chose one to use in our poster. Then, using the canva web 2.0 tool, we designed the project poster and logo of our class on zoom.

Evimizde bulduğumuz geri dönüşüm malzemeleriyle ülkemizin ve yaşadığımız şehrin adını yazdık. Bu malzemeler bazen bitmiş piller , bazen çakıl taşları, bazen plastik şişe parçaları olurken bazen de bir yandan yediğimiz meyve kabukları oldu. Çalışma fotoğraflarımızı Kizoa uygulaması ile videoya dönüştürdük.
We wrote the name of our country and the city we live in, using the recycled materials we found in our house. These materials were sometimes used up batteries, sometimes pebbles, sometimes plastic bottle pieces, and sometimes the fruit peels we ate.We turned our work photos into videos with the Kizoa app.

E-Kitap Ortak Ürünümüzü Yazma Sürecimiz
Öğrencilerime projemizin ortak ürününün bir e-kitap olacağını anlattım. Bir hikaye yazarken hangi unsurların bulunması gerektiğini konuştuk. Yer, kahramanlar, konu, zaman, sonuç ... birçok unsuru belirledik. Daha sonra ortak kitabımızın bizden önce yazılan kısımlarını öğrencilerime çevirip Türkçeye çevirdim ve geri kalanını da öğrenciler Türkçe dersine hayal güçlerine göre yazdılar. Sonraki derste öğrenciler yazdıklarını okudular ve birlikte hangilerini kullanacağımıza karar verdik. Öğrencilerin Türkçe yazdıkları bölümleri İngilizceye çevirdik ve kitaba yükledik. Daha sonra yazdığımız sayfaları anlatan resimler çizip boyadık. Böylelikle ortak kitabımıza katkıda bulunduk.
Our Process to Write Our E-Book Co-Product
I explained to my students that the joint product of our project will be an e-book. We talked about what elements should be found when writing a story. Place, heroes, plot, time, outcome ... we have identified many elements. Later, I translated the parts of our joint book that were written before us to my students and translated it into Turkish, and the rest of them wrote the Turkish lesson according to their imagination. In the next lesson, the students read what they had written and together we decided which ones to use. We translated the sections written by the students in Turkish into English and uploaded them to the book. Then we drew and painted pictures describing the pages we wrote. Thus, we contributed to our joint book.
