With more than 20 years of experience in the car sales field, Chris Orsaris serves as a consulting dealer at Victory Auto Group in the Bronx in New York City. In his free time, Chris Orsaris enjoys fishing in the Bronx, which offers a number of great fishing spots.

Anglers looking for a good place to fish in the Bronx can visit Indian Lake in Crotona Park at Crotona Park East & Charlotte Street. This 3.3-acre lake is home to blue gills, largemouth bass, and pumpkinseeds and features a dock at the Crotona Park Nature Center. Anglers can also follow the paved paths to locate more isolated spots around the lake.

Another fishing location in the Bronx is Van Cortlandt Lake in Van Cortlandt Park, which is located at Bailey Avenue and Van Cortlandt Avenue West. Anglers can visit this 18-acre lake in search of a variety of fish, from yellow perch and brown bullheads to black crappie and carp.

Finally, those who prefer saltwater fishing can visit Orchard Beach, which is situated at the far east end of Pelham Bay Park on Pelham Bay. Although anglers need to be careful of swimmers in this area, the beach offers more than a mile of shoreline to catch saltwater fish from the Long Island Sound.

Kelley Blue Book Instant Cash Offer for Vehicle Buy-Back and Trade-In

Chris Orsaris functions as the principal consultant of Victory Auto Group, an automobile dealership with an accompanying service department in Bronx, New York. In addition to leasing and repairing vehicles, Chris Orsaris’ company buys back automobiles via the Kelley Blue Book (KBB) Instant Cash Offer program.

The KBB Instant Cash Offer program provides car owners with a dependable avenue for trading in vehicles that adhere to trusted KBB values. To use the service, car owners provide information online about their vehicle’s condition, features, and history after responding to a series of questions. To capitalize on the cash offer with which they are subsequently presented, car owners must present their vehicle at a participating dealer to verify its condition and features, after which they can trade it in at or sell it to the dealer.

In addition to an instant cash offer, users of the service will receive information on where their offer stands within KBB’s trade-in range. The trade-in range represents the car’s estimated trade-in value, which is updated weekly. Values are determined based on multiple factors, including the vehicle’s make, model, year, style, mileage, condition, and optional features.

A Proposal to Expand the College Football Playoff Roster

A well-established New York entrepreneur, Chris Orsaris engages with the Bronx's Victory Auto Group in a consulting capacity. With a longstanding interest in collegiate sports, Chris Orsaris is following a current proposal to expand the NCAA College Football Playoffs (CFP). As detailed by Fox Sports, the lynchpin of the debate is exclusion, with a number of worthy teams each year not able to join the four that are ultimately selected to battle it out in the CFP.

Expanding the CFP roster to eight teams would effectively solve this issue, and could be coupled with a formula that fairly includes conference champions as well as worthy “at-large” teams. One downside of this approach is that it would significantly add to the length of the season.

Surveyed by CBS Sports in January, 2017, a majority of student athletes at top football schools felt that the physical toll exacted by the extra games would be too great. In addition, there is concern that the extra games would impact students’ ability to effectively transition to the new academic semester.
