Why did you start experimenting on the Arctic Circle? And do you experiment on the Northern lights? This is how the sun makes Northern lights. The sun send rays of chemicals that we call solar wind. When solar wind enters the Earths atmosphere it interracts with the chemicals in the air so when they collide it creates the beautiful color

The Aurora Borealis are actually caused by electrons from solar winds. They mix with gases in the atmosphere, causing the gases to glow. Near the south pole people may see the southern lights, but these lights are not easily visible. In the north pole people can see the northern lights. However, they are more visible than the southern lights. Can you see northern lights from space??

Here is picture of the northern lights.

Aurora Borealis are made by solar winds entering the earth's atmosphere and when they mix with the earth's gasses they react by creating a curving, glowing display of lights that never fade till morning. The Northern Hemisphere experiences phases of never ending light, and never ending darkness. The phase of never ending light is called the midnight sun, because the sun never sets, and the phase of never ending darkness is called a polar night. These phases occur when the Northern Hemisphere is tilted towards the sun, and away from the sun.
What do you do during the polar night when you can't see, other than using a flashlight?
