When I was first presented the opportunity to join this camp by my CCA teacher, i was actually not that interested at first. i thought "It's completely virtual? Well that takes the fun away from a camp doesn't it." However, after a little thinking, i decided to join and send the interview video anyways, hoping for the best and telling myself I'll participate in it actively no matter how it turns out to be. 

Now that the camp has ended, I'm happy to say that my decision was not in vain and that i have thought wrongly about how a virtual camp would be like. 

It was virtual, but it didn't mean it wasn't enjoyable. I was very impressed by just the opening ceremony itself, it really showed how invested and meticulous Girl Guides Korea was into hosting the perfect virtual camp. They even had K-pop idols come in to perform and greet us virtually, it was very exciting and impressive to say the least. On our company's first zoom meet, i was pleased to know our leaders, Ms Siti and Ms Sheryl were such outgoing and encouraging people, it made the awkward and tense atmosphere of the zoom meet lift super fast. 

When i first logged onto the e camp website, i was even more amazed and impressed by how professional and detailed the website looked, they really spent a lot of time into it and I'm very grateful to have had the chance to experience this e-camp. Moreover, the activities planned for us to do were all so unique, so , activities that made me want to actively go take a look at them and do them. [i guess that's why they call it 'activities']

So yes, the camp not only met my expectations, it far exceeded it.

Something really want to bring back would be all the different activities in the camp that i did, i think that they were all very creative and unique, very different from what my unit would usually do. There's just a really wide variety of activities for us to do during this camp and i feel quite obligated to share them with my unit because they're just too good. I think they can really benefit from the new activities i share, because then now future icebreakers wont be just the same old games.

For GGS: 
From what i experienced in this E-camp, i now have a standard of what a good e-camp would be. In the future, if GGS ever hosts something similar, I'll be able to learn from this e-camp and incorporate it into our own e-camps! For example, maybe we can invite Mark lee to be our ambassador HAHA

So one thing i would do differently is to plan out what i want to do for each day, every hour.
