         <title>How African cultures influenced Black Panther</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>The Zulu Headdress</strong>: Queen Ramonda wears this headdress reminiscent of “Isicholos”. They are elaborately woven red hats made out of dried grass, intertwined with red cotton and human hair. Then, they are covered with red ochre and beadwork, and attached to Zulu women when the get married and for ceremonial purposes.<br><br></div><div><strong>Basotho Blanket</strong>: W’Kabi, as well as others, appear in several scenes wearing this. Also known as Seana Marena, it is a distinctive form of woollen tribal blanket traditionally worn by Sotho People in Southern Africa.<br><br><strong>The Igbo Mask</strong>: Erik Killmonger steals this from a London museum. This mask is also known as “Time of the Brave Mask.” The mask represents a wilderness spirit that is aggressive, brash, powerful and stubborn.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Thor was created by the Vikings as one of the mightiest andmost venerated Norse gods. <br><strong>Thor</strong>: In Norse mythology, Thor is described as a hulking, mighty god with red hair and red beard. His primary weapon is a huge hammer called Mjollnir, but he is also equipped with a belt, gloves and a staff that also possess special powers.<br><br><strong>Odin</strong>: Known as the “All-Father,” Odin is the most powerful god and Thor’s father. He rules Asgard with great wisdom, and only has one eye, having traded the other.<br><br><strong>Loki</strong>: In ancient myths(and in the comics), Loki is believed&nbsp; to be a troublemaker and a shape-shifter who wreaks havoc wherever he goes.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

In Greek mythology, the Amazons were a tribe of women warriors related to Scythians and Sarmatians. In the comics, her parents are Zeus and Hippolyta.<br><br></div><div><strong>Sif</strong>: In Norse mythology, she is goddess associated with Earth, and she is the wife of the storm-god Thor. In the comics, Sif is a goddess of Asgard, with superhuman endurance, speed, and strength.</div><div><br><strong>Apocalypse</strong>: In the Bible, Apocalypse is a disclosure of knowledge or revelation, and he is in the Book of Revelation. In Marvel comics, he’s an ancient mutant, skilled demagogue, and a master strategist.</div>]]></description>

Captain Marvel:</strong> Captain Marvel has superhuman strength and durability. She is like the god Kratos because he is the god of strength and power.<br><strong>8. Doctor Strange:</strong> He’s like the god Cronos, the god of time. They’re similar because in the comics Doctor Strange holds the time stone, which, if you have it, you have the ability control time. <br><strong>7. The Flash:</strong> Hermes is like the Flash because they’re both known for their speed, and each of them are able to run faster than any other human. <br><strong>6. Mantis:</strong> Hypnos, the Greek god of sleep, is like Mantis because with her powers Mantis is able to touch someone have have them go into a deep sleep.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>5. Mystique:</strong> She is like the goddess Morpheus because like the goddess, Mystique can has the ability to take any human form.<br><strong>4. Captain America:</strong> Ares, the god of war, has a great impact on Captain America. They both use shields in battle and both fight for what they think is right. <br><strong>3. Aquaman:</strong> He is just like the god of the sea, Poseidon. They both wield a trident, can communicate with underwater animals, and live in Atlantis. <br><strong>2. Batman:</strong> Batman is a parallel of Hades. They are constantly surrounded by death. Also, Hades lives in the Underworld and Batman lives in the Batcave (which resembles the Underworld.)<br><strong>1. Superman:</strong> He is like the king of all gods, Zeus. Superman does have a bit of Achilles in him (only one weakness; kryptonite), but he mainly resembles Zeus. Superman is the leader of the Justice League and fight in many great battles, just like Zeus. </div>]]></description>
