Learning is obtaining knowledge through study, experience, teachings, and communication. We learn through listening and observing. Learning is often associated with an educational institution and life experiences.

Justification
Every person has different experiences that make their capacity to learn different from the next person. Real learning occurs when we take our understanding and then apply it to real life situations. (Hasa, 2017). In a TED Talk titled, "Learning How to Learn", Dr. Barbara Oakley described her personal journey with learning. Growing up, she struggled to understand math and science before eventually enlisting in the U.S. army. Her life experiences through the army made her realize that a good understanding of these subjects was necessary for her to explore other careers, and so she returned to school to give learning a second chance. Today, she is an Engineering professor at Oakland University in Michigan.

Learning can occur consciously as well as unconsciously. (Hasa, 2017). As seen in Dr. Oakley's case, learning varies depending on each individual's learning style, intelligence, personality, and motivation. "Whenever you're sitting down to solve a new problem or analyze a new idea, even if millions of other people have thought the same thoughts, or solved the same problems, for you, it's just as creative as it was for famous people like Dali and Edison, and you want to use some of these creative approaches." (Oakley, 2014).

Teaching is the communication of ideas and information to somebody else. Teaching is not limited to just the role of teachers; teaching can be conducted by anyone. It is the transfer of knowledge, ideas, and principals. Teaching is a process that is observable, measurable, and modifiable.

Justification
Both teaching and learning are connected to the transfer and acquisition of knowledge, values, traditions, skills, and behaviours. It is not just limited to the field of education. Teaching can be done through anyone, if we are transferring knowledge and skills onto somebody else. (Hasa, 2017). Teaching that takes place in educational institutions is seen as structured teaching. There is a schedule, curriculum, and rules to follow. There are traditional teaching methods, (i.e., the teacher lecturing, the students memorizing information), and newer, innovative teaching methods, (i.e., active participation, self-inquiry, and the use of assistive technology). (Hasa, 2017).

Creativity is something new and valuable that is produced. It can be produced from original ideas or using the imagination, bias, and opinions to create these ideas. It is when we bring something (a product, an idea, a solution, a method) new into existence.

Creativity can be found anywhere, but is often associated with the fields; education, psychology, business studies, technology, and cognitive science.

Justification
Runco's article on "Creativity" states that creativity is more important than ever in this day and age. The world has become more complex, undergone evolutionary changes, and experienced technology advancements. "Creativity is therefore often defined as the development of original ideas that are useful or influential." (Runco, 2004). Creativity plays a large role in the classroom, organizations, and businesses.

As educators, we should encourage our students to be creative where possible. While there are curriculum expectations to be met, fostering creativity in the classroom will spark resourceful and visionary young learners. As soon as we say we cannot do something, or we are not allowed to do something, we are limiting that creativity and passion.

Innovation is the introduction of a new idea, method, or product. It is a process, development, transformation, or change. In education, some examples of innovation include;  inquiry-based learning, 21st Century Learning (student-centred learning), technology innovations (virtual reality, 3D-printing, coding), and outdoor education.

Justification
Badran states that the root of innovation is "innovâre", to renew or make changes. (Badran, 2007). It is adding something new to an already pre-existing product, concept, or process. This is what differentiates innovation from creating, which is to bring something to being that was not in existence before. (Badran, 2007). 

UNICEF describes innovation in education as, "solving a real problem in a new, simple way to promote equitable learning." (UNICEF, n.d.). We can combine community experiences and aspects of creativity to facilitate innovative education systems that promote and enhance learning for all.
