My favorite gift? Hm. Never thought of that. Well if I had to choose one I would choose my karaoke machine. No wait. My phone. No my karaoke machine. Well I have a lot to decide so here is a little story about the most memorable gift I have ever received.

It was December 24th, 2015 at about 7 o'clock at night and my family was driving to my cousins house (as a surprise for them.) I was about 9 years old so I slept the entire car ride. Since it was Christmas Eve we of course had a trunk full of presents for them. My parents bought the presents so I had no idea what kind of gifts were in the trunk or which one was for me.
We arrived at their house at about 9 o'clock at night and the first thing we did was put the colorfully wrapped gifts under the Christmas Tree.

“I think they are all for me!!” my 5 year old cousin yelled.

“Well I think mine HAS to be that one.” my older cousin said as he pointed to a HUGE green wrapped gift about the size of a dishwasher.

“Kids come eat dinner!!!” shouted my aunt from the kitchen.

We all raced to the dining table and sat down. My aunt gave us food and we all gobbled it up so we could go back to looking at all the tag less gifts saying who it was for and guessing which one is ours and what is inside. I guessed that mine was the one with the blue wrapping paper that was the size of a coffee machine.

After hours of saying which one is who’s and shaking the gifts we could hold to guess what was inside it was time to sleep.

Christmas morning came and all of the kids ran downstairs to the kitchen where the adults were drinking coffee.

      “Merry Christmas!!!!” Yelled my mom.

“Let’s open the presents!!!!” Responded the kids without even saying “Merry Christmas.”

All of the kids ran to the room with the presents under the Christmas tree and sat on the floor as the adults slowly followed holding their coffee mugs.

Since my mom was the only one who knew which gift was for who she gave them to us.

My 5 year old cousin got a small pink one, my older cousin got the blue one that I guessed was mine, my brother got a medium sized red one and me? I got the big green one that my cousin guessed.

We all vigorously teared off the wrapping paper. My 5 year old cousin got a box of “pretty” doll clothes (they were hideous.) My older cousin got a football, my brother got a video game and I got this ginormous karaoke machine that came with all my favorite songs and two microphones.

I excitedly plugged it to the TV and turned it on and although i had no idea how to actually use it I was still having a blast.

So uhh yeah that's pretty much my story of the most memorable gift i have ever received.
