         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>My name is Manuela Vieira, and I am teaching 2 classes because I have almost 40 years teaching experience.<br><br>Because of that I feel that is important to develop and share experience. <br>Maths is a subjet that we need to give to the learners the importance and the pleasure.  <br><br>During all this years feeling that kind of " maths are terrible" I was looking for new methods and approaches for teaching and learning. <br><br>I envoy the joy of my students during the classes when at the end they come to me and say : "teacher maths isn't so difficult" :))) <br><br>And because of that all I joined teachers training. <br><br>I hope this one become one of the differents one I could share and work with my colleges too. <br><br>Our learners deserve that. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Why is Maths unpopular?<br></strong>Kids as well as adults don't see why Math -beyond addition, formulas,&nbsp; etc- are useful, since they can't formulate a real world problem as a math problem and they could put in use all the knowledge passed through education.Explain to the students that everything&nbsp; around us, is/has maths, is too difficult .... So it is up to us teachers promote new challenges / activities in order to make maths more attractives.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

Beside this, there are some of them that Maths are "some" problem. For those ones we have to be patient and improve with ITC like - Plickers, Socrative, Geogebra and math games so they can make parte of the group - " Maths is my bussiness". <br><br><strong><br></strong><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In my math lessons I normaly use differents ways of teaching, strategies : problem solving, practicing communications and reasonning skills, math games, interatives tasks and apps. They always love differents things. Although I love to work with ICT sometimes we have troubles in the school net and I have to work with offline tasks. In the classes there are no tablets and there are only one PC. The use of mobile is the only way of working   and some of the students are not using.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This video is fantastic and I fully agree. In my classes i use tecnology as much as possible, because there is no computers to work in every lessons. There is one PC per classroom, generally for teachers . <br>Althought it is not easy I go on using, improving with new websites, new apps to work on, new ressources in order to envolve students and prepare them for the future. <br>And that's why I am in this course. <br>Parents are not in this mood, also. Paper is a kind of thin that is the real "world" of learning, in spite of tecnologies. We need to work with parents too. </div>]]></description>
