Each get responsibility or task. Allocate topics or subtopics. Groups return and present. 

Then presentations are timed,  and a listening group write and present a summary afterwards. 

Second idea: students given practical assessment, after which they are tasked with working in groups to come up with criteria by which they think the piece should be assessed.
