Dudley Randall apeals to the audience pathologically in one of the most notorious responses to the Civil rights movement in his "Ballad of Birmingham." I felt it was appropriate to use a black and white filter because the poem was written in 1963, the same year that Martin Luther's "I Have A Dream" speech was orally presented and was recorded in black and white standard.
