Potatoes will be effected by climate change because they have difficulty growing in extreme temperatures. The starches will turn to sugar in higher temperatures making it burn quicker and turn darker when you cook them which will not appeal to customers.

Along the southern and central coast, temperatures vary from 13˚–26˚C, (50-80 degrees Farenheit) with colder months in May and October.
