I saw some foreshadowing when they used infants as target practice and the others had to offer their necks. and one of them got away, and tried to tell everyone about it but they didn't believe him

I saw some foreshadowing. as I read the book it gave some hints as to would was going to happen. I think Elie will start to realize and understand why Moshie longer had life in eyes when he came back.

I saw a foreshadowing when Eli it's talking to Moishe the beadle when he tells Eli that he came back to warm him about what it was going to happen to the Jews.

There was foreshadowing. Ellie asked his father to sell everything so they could migrate to Palestine, but his father said no, giving sign that bad will happen because of this decision. The Germans then enter Hungaria and I think Ellie will be in lots of trouble.

Yes, I did see foreshadowing in the text. Moshie the beadle says "(he) wanted to return to Sihget to describe to you my death so that you might ready yourselves while there is still time"(Weisel 7).

Elie was looking back at the time when he says this because he keeps using "was" also the emphasis on "delusion" gives the feeling that Elie is annoyed when saying this, as if he wishes he could go back and warn everyone.

Elie meant this in a way of looking back at it just because of how the story is flowing it seems like it wasn't happening it seems like it already happened but he is just remembering back on it and telling the story.

what I think Elise means when he says this is the ghetto was created as an illusion. He is thinking this as he looks back because it was made to seem not as bad as what they're about to experience.

What Elie means by this is that he means that the Germans actually didn't have any control over the Jews neither did the Jews over the Germans. The Jews thought though that they Germans had power over them because of the government. Elie is thinking this while looking back on these event because he realized the freedom the Jews had before being place in ghettos.

Eli meant that he felt like he jews were the leaders but it was actually the Germans the ones who ruled the ghetto, I think he was on the event because he's saying it like he doesn't really knows.

I can infer Eli made this statement looking back on the situation. I feel like as a victim of invasion in the moment he would blame Germany and i feel like as he looks back upon it he realizes that it wasn't under German rule it was ruled by delusion.

If i was in Eli's position I would be in doubt after just Moishe because he was known for telling tales and he is the only argument but after the valuables are taken and he is forced to wear a star i feel like i would then realize they are in danger.

If I was Eliezer and got the same warning I think when Moishe came back from being captured and told his story, I world have believed him because he is a believer in God and he probably would not lie.

If I saw the same warning signs as Eliezer I would have probably went along with it cause his family made it seem like everything was gonna be okay.

yes, sometimes there are a lot of warnings but I just decided to ignore them or i just didn't realize that there were warnings but after something bad happens I start to recognize the warnings.
