I'm experimenting CLIL in a second class at lower high school. My colleague was excited to allow me to teach Geography, and together we started this experience. She helps me with the specific language writing the new words on the blackboard and repeating the key words so that the students can better understand and focus on the targets we have planned to achieve. Students are really happy to take part to these lessons...they enjoy themselves, participate actively and learn..

I think CLIL methodology is a great way of learning, especially when you have the "right" colleague who wants to use his/her English, motivate the students and make them improve having fun.. On the other hand, preparing the lessons and surfing the net to search the right materials to use during the lessons takes lots of time..

They have a lot of fun especially when we use Mentimeter...(They can use their mobiles!!!) Unfortunately I have the interactive white board in only two classes out of six, so I haven't had the chance to use and put into practice what I have learnt in my technology courses.. My limited abilities to use CALL are now improving thanks to this course and to all the colleagues who have posted the names of the webtools they use! As many English teachers already know... I would definitely like to have more time to teach English to our students not only to allow them to "pass" their exams.. but also to enhance their performance and their love for this Language. Personally, I haven't experimented ER yet, but I'll surely try it now that I've met all these fab web tools. The ones I'll certainly use are
