Miss Mary´s Room is a crime fiction written by George Pelecanos. In the story we are following Tim and his best friend Pat. They live in a harsh neighbourhood with crime and drugs. Pat lives with his mother who is a very admirable woman. Both Tim and Pat respect Miss Mary’s rules as well as her privacy. Both boys are smoking and selling drugs together with a guy named Rollo and it does not take long before they get in trouble, as they one night drive to a guy by the name Day to sell drugs. It ends up in a confrontation and Rollo hits Day in the head with a gun. Day calls the police, and Rollo, Tim and Pat gets all thrown into custody. When they get out Rollo and Tim are afraid that Pat will rat on them. Therefore they get their friend Jojo to kill Pat.
