A few things to know before getting into welding is that, it is a physical job, meaning you will use physical strength too, as well as to learn how to read blue prints.

Not much experience is needed, but as long as you keep learning, the better you are, the better the pay.

while most go into welding without experience there's two ways to get it

transfer school: You go to school, learn, they try to set you with a future & you pay a certain fee.

Apprentice: You get someone you know that welds to train you & work with them & get the experience you need, then just go from there.

good pay rate, starting from 20 all the way to 40 or 30 an hour

Independent job, you won't have to socialize much

Job security or insurance.

Requires a lot of time, welders get up to 8-12 hour shifts

Eye damage or skin damage if not wearing proper gear.

Physical damage.

this job offers a lot of big opportunities & big money wages.

becoming an underwater welder can produce more income than being a normal welder.
