Lukhanyo is developing a strong sense of body awareness and can confidently identify his basic body parts. He enjoys action songs and movement games, such as Simon Says, that involve naming and using different body parts. His coordination and control are steadily improving, particularly during climbing and balancing activities. Lukhanyo shows great excitement during activities such as colouring, especially when using a variety of colours. He finds threading beads challenging, but with encouragement he is developing this skill. He enjoys building with small Lego blocks and can construct tall towers. He also has fun creating patterns in shaving cream and happily engages in exploring its texture. Continued practice will help him further refine his cutting, drawing and fine motor skills. Lukhanyo enjoys running races, especially when kicking the ball across the field with his friends. He has made great progress in his balancing activities and shows enthusiasm during obstacle courses, developing smoother coordination of his movements. He also participates eagerly in floor exercises, including jumping, hopping and crawling. These activities help strengthen his coordination and build his confidence in using his body effectively.
