I.
1. Sometimes simply giving love and recognizing that love strengthens spiritual immunity. I overthink a lot about God's will. This results into a weak faith in God. I was waiting for God's answers to strengthen my faith. I learned that examples of faith and God's blessings are present in everyday life.

2. When I open my eyes to the blessings of God, I feel His grace. These blessings could be a simple act of kindness or a beautiful scene of nature. I think I usually see these kinds of things in the stories other people told me. It rarely happens in real life because I usually approach things with negativity.

3. I'm surprised I listened to the presentation all the way through. The sharing reminded me of the little joys God gave us. Sometimes a simple act of kindness is a sign of God.

1. Based on the sharing of Brother Andreus, I can strengthen my Spiritual System by believing in the Lord's goodness. During his speech, he reminded me that God is good if we trust Him and His plans for us. Setting my mind to believe that everything I encounter is part of God's plan for me strengthens my spiritual system because I know that no matter how difficult life can be at times, something wonderful will eventually prevail.

2. As I wake up everyday knowing my family, relatives, and friends are safe and healthy. Having another day to live according to His will symbolizes that He has given us another chance to prove ourselves and make up for the mistakes we committed in the previous day.

3. Borther Andreus sharing his experiences with his mother is my favorite part of the Lenten Recollection. It made me understand how important it is to repay our parents, who have sacrificed so much for us. Even if we reach adulthood, we should never abandon them and continue to look after them even if we have our own family. We should express our love for our family and friends every day since we never know what will happen the next day, so let us not waste any chances to do so while we still have them.

1. I can strengthen my Spiritual System by having a constant connection and strong faith in God. Based on what I heard from Brother Andreus' sharing, he constantly talks to God whether he is happy or worried. His communication with the Lord got him through certain points in his life. By having a constant connection with Him, I will be guided through my journey here on Earth. Having a strong faith is also imperative in having a strong Spiritual System. When Brother Andreus' laptop got broken, his faith in God did not waver. He didn't get mad. In the end, he got a brand new laptop from his friend because of God. By having an unwavering and strong faith in the Lord, I will be able to get through tough times.

2. Being alive and having my family. Being alive alone is an example of God's grace. If not for Him and His love, I might not have existed. He also blessed me with an amazing and supporting family. Their presence in my life is a grace from God. Whenever I am with them, I feel at home and loved.

3. Brother Andreus' sharing was lovely, insightful, and entertaining. I realized that God is truly great. What blew me away in his sharing was when he got a brand new laptop. It was like he was destined to receive one after his old one was broken. When he couldn't afford to buy MacBook, he said he would just wait for it until he has enough money. Then, his friend calls him and asks if he wants to buy a second hand MacBook for the exact amount he only had. His friend didn't know how much money he could only give. In the end, his friend gave the laptop to him for free because Brother Andreus has been appearing in his dreams. I fee like that was a miracle and a testament to God's grace and greatness. Brother Andreus' faced an obstacle but he didn't lose hope. He got over it with God's guidance and love.

1. Based on the sharing of Brother Andreus, I can strengthen my spiritual immune system by having a stronger faith in God. By having a strong faith in God, I know that I can be able to rely on him for all the problems and challenges that I will come across. Additionally, I can strengthen my spiritual immune system through prayer and acts of charity. Through prayer, I know that I can always come to the Lord to vent about my frustrations and problems that need resolving. I also know that I can come to him for strength especially when I need it the most.

2. I felt God’s grace through Brother Andreus’ words of wisdom and encouragement. I felt that God was indirectly speaking to me through Brother Andreus’ words. I felt that sense of faith and hope that in everything that is going on in the world, everything will be okay. I was also able to detect my privileges. I can have three meals a day, a full computer for online classes, and many others. With that, I knew that I should use my privileges so that I could better myself and give back to the community and help other people.

3. During the Lenten recollection, I had realized that blind faith is ultimately futile. It is important to put in the work to be a real man of God. Just by simply being kind to other people, you already have the foundation for a good faith. Serving the community at large is a great service that one may give. Another insight is that it is important to repay your parents for the kindness that they have provided for you. They have worked hard so that you may be able to live the life they never had and it is important that you pay them in return.

1. According to the sharing of Brother Andreus, I can strengthen my spiritual system by having an endless faith in God. Wherever I go in my life, I need to have faith and hope in the Lord as I explore my life journey. When I continuously believe and have faith in the Lord, I feel reassured that God is always with me and guiding me in my life. Faith acts as a connection or bond between me and God that allows me to connect with Him and have a closer relationship. Other than that, prayers also strengthen my spiritual system. Through my prayers, I can communicate with God about the struggles, worries, and problems I encounter. Through my prayers, I can strengthen my faith and love for God as I explore my life journey.

2. God’s grace can be defined as a blessing from God that He gave us every day. Every moment in my life, I encounter and feel the grace of the Lord. Every morning, I wake up as I remember God’s grace for giving me another day to be alive and spend my day with my family and friends. Every night, I thank God for all the blessings that He gave to me throughout the day, and I also thank God for allowing me to spend my time with my family and friends. Through God’s grace, I overcame the challenges and struggles that I encountered in my life. Through God’s grace, I strengthened my faith and love in Him. God’s grace inspired me to become who I am today because God’s grace shaped the way I live today.

3. Brother Andreus’ talk was inspiring and motivating because his talk was something that I could relate to in my everyday life. Brother Andreus’ talk motivates me to keep believing in God in my life. After the Lenten Recollection, I realized that I should be thankful for God's blessings in my life. Even if it’s only a small thing, I should always be grateful to God. Other than that, I also realized that praying to the Lord helps me to strengthen my faith and love for the Lord. Prayer also allows me to recognize and be thankful for the grace of the Lord. Brother Andreus’ talk was memorable because it taught me valuable lessons that I may use in the future.

1. I have learned so many things based on the sharing of Brother Andreus. When he mentioned his hardships and struggles in life, he never did once doubt God as he still kept being faithful to Him. He remained his faith and trust in Him which made him overcome his obstacles along with God’s guidance and support. With his sharings, My perspective about spirituality has shifted for I got inspired by it which made me regain my trust and faith in Him again. I regained it because recently I have been doubting Him due to the struggles I have been experiencing these days and as I listened to Brother Andreus’ sharing I felt like I had to give it another shot. With this, I started to regain my faith and trust within Him and at the same time communicating with Him which I believe has granted myself a closer relationship with the Lord.

2.There are many unnoticeable things in which God has blessed us with His grace. Included in this is our life itself, During this ongoing pandemic many lives have been taken and affected due to the spread of the virus. With this, The fact that we are healthy and still surviving is already a blessing that most individuals fail to realize. Aside from this, The experiences I had wherein I was able to felt God’s grace was the time I saw the USTAR results. Knowing the school’s standards I believe that we really need to strive hard as students in order to meet the school’s expectations. Moreover, as I saw the results showing that I was qualified it made me really felt grateful given that some of my friends who applied did not meet the cut-off score. After this experience, I prayed to God and thanked Him for this great opportunity He had bestowed upon me for this experience was an answered prayer given that being accepted in Senior High School was an important milestone I had to achieve.

3.Like I mentioned above, After Brother Andreus’ sharing I got influenced and inspired by his strong faith in God which led me to return into his loving presence again. Moreover, I also realized a good lesson from his sharing regarding his laptop. The fact that his laptop was broken by a child , he did not get mad and he did not ask for a new laptop in return. Instead he just waited until he had enough money to buy for a new one, As time passed a friend of his called him and asked him if he wanted to buy his laptop which was amounting to the exact money he had. With this, I believe that it was God’s response towards his problems for he still believed in God’s plan towards him and still had faith that God will help him solve his issues. With his experience I realized that in times of hardships, we must remain faithful towards Him for God will always find a way to assist and guide us from our problems.

1. Routine. I can strengthen my spiritual system by continually devoting my time to the Lord. But why? Isn’t that wasting your time?

No. God is the way, the truth, and the life. With what Brother Andreus had mentioned, he constantly reminds us that God will always be there for us with the experiences he has mentioned. Indeed there are instances wherein we receive the opposite of the things we asked for, but God did it for a reason. We must understand that not everything will go in our way. It's just a matter of time where we acknowledge the things that are happening to us and think of solutions that may help us feel at ease. That solution is through prayer.

2. We are experiencing God’s grace every single day. Being awake every morning, getting to eat 3 times a day, and being together with our loved ones was already a blessing. But one significant grace I could mention as of this moment would be the day I passed my USTAR.

3. Trust the process. Having Brother Andreus as the speaker in this Lenten Recollection has been interactive and a first for me. The Lenten Recollection we have before was different from the one I’ve joined with. The atmosphere was very light to the point that you can feel God’s presence while he was talking. Overall, I was reminded that whatever good/bad things happen to us, we must trust the process because, in the end, it will be our benefit to learn from them.

1. Based on the sharing of Brother Andreus is that in strengthening your Spiritual (Immune) System is by not trying to win God's love because He had already given it to us. Just let Him love you and love him fully as well.

2. Receiving God's grace is something that I believe is the best feeling to experience. I had two main experiences when I received God's grace. The first one is when I was running for student council, I was very nervous about our Mitting De Avance because my weakness is QnA. I always prayed to the Lord God to guide me, and to train me well, when the day comes. Though, when our MDA came, I was crying because I was thinking negatively and I was panicking, but I heard a whisper that still made me shiver up till now, and it was only two simple words, and those words are "stay strong". It really made me cry so much, but it gave me confidence. By that, I was able to answer all the questions confidently and had a wonderful experience. Second is, when I thought that I won't be able to reach honors because of my low scores, I was already accepting the fact that I won't reach it, and I also prayed to the Lord God that it was okay for me not to be in the honors' list as I wasn't able to give my best for the quarter. When our grades were released, I was about to check my grades, and when I saw it, I got a 90 and above average, which made me cry so much. God is really good.

3. I have realized a lot and was also amazed by the talk of Brother Andreus in this Lenten Recollection. We have committed many sins but still ended up being loved by the Lord God. I also realized and remembered the many graces that God has given to me, and how much he wanted me to learn from my mistakes. In addition, I learned that God's love has already been given to us, and we must let Him love us and love God as well. Being able to also pray to Him and share everything with Him is something that I must always do even though He knows everything in our lives.

1 By praying for the strengthening of my faith and the establishment of a greater relationship with our Lord, I can boost my spiritual immune system. We must trust God and maintain a continuous relationship with him in order to build this healthy spiritual system. We should not rush our relationship with Him because by learning more about Him, we may strengthen our spiritual immune system and completely surrender to Him.

2. It has been difficult for me to handle the long-distance connection I have with my parents, who work abroad and cannot travel owing to travel restrictions, since the pandemic began. Although it was difficult, I tried to remain patient and optimistic by praying for my parents' safety and our anticipated reunion. I can feel, if not see, God's grace throughout this trip. I witnessed His grace via the people who cared about me and assisted me every step of the way.

3. For starters, as a result of the Lenten Recollection, I realized that God has a plan for each of us. The Lord operates in unexpected ways. Second, we do not eliminate temptation, but rather avoid it by choosing God's love. Finally, instead than being afraid of vulnerability and errors, I should embrace them. Allow God and my loved ones to accept and love me so that I can love them back. Trusting myself to others will surely be a difficult journey. I am confident that I can do so gradually now that I am more aware of myself and desire to grow.

1. Listening to Brother Andreus, I learned that we could strengthen our Spiritual Immune System by having faith in God. By having faith in Him, I would feel that these struggles and challenges I experience will end because it is part of God's plan. Prayers get me through in life because this strengthens my bond with God and makes me feel like I can overcome all the challenging situations.

2. God's grace gives me the chance to live life again every day. I consider waking up in the morning and having a simple day with my family a blessing. Today, we live without ensuring safety. Anything can happen, but I get to spend another regular day with my loved ones with God's grace. Even if I experienced struggles, knowing that God is watching over us, everything would be alright.

3. I realized it is best to be patient and trust the process.

1. From the talk of Brother Andreus, we can strengthen our "SPIRITUAL (Immune) SYSTEM" by letting God love us. Being loved by someone especially by God is letting us know that someone is here to guide and support us through our hardships and journey in life. As we grow to love someone our "SPIRITUAL (Immune) SYSTEM" grows and strengthens as we make a strong and good bond with the ones we love.

2. There are a lot of time that I felt God's grace, but one specific experience that I always remember is when I am under a lot of pressure, I usually stress myself out to the point that my mind would only be filled with the things I need to do in order to get better at something. During those time I would feel God's grace, and telling me that He is always there to support me and guide me. Every time that I needed Him I will always feel His grace and letting me know that He won't leave me alone and I should never give up in the things I'm doing.

3. After the Lenten Recollection I realized that through our hard and rough times God is always there to guide and protect us. Through this recollection it made me remember that God won't leave us alone and He will be always by our side to protect and guide us throughout our journey as we live. It's been a while since the last recollection that I attended, and it feels good to participate in another Recollection.

1. For me, I can strengthen my spiritual immune system by praying and listening to the Lord. I can also strengthen it by serving and sharing with others in simple ways. Just like what Bro. Andreus said, serve the Lord and God's grace keeps us sharing. Even if we have struggles in life, we must believe in Him and not doubt what He can do.

2. For me, I feel God's grace every time I am being helped by someone. I feel like God wants to help me and the instances of me being helped is a lesson to me in different ways. I felt God's grace during the time I was asked by my best friend if I was okay. It was a hard time since I had a hard time finishing my requirements and listening in class. I felt like I deserved to stress over my requirements because it was also my fault for not doing it soon. But with our conversation, I realized how important it is to take a rest to get on track. I also felt disconnected with my friends during that time but they helped me try to also help my other friends. They also helped me to ask God for strength to overcome my problems.

3. I realized how important it is to have faith in God and to be a blessing to others. I felt like I needed to do more acts to be of service to others. It helped me motivate myself to be more kind to others and to not expect anything in return. Even if we did something bad, God still loves us so we should never look back on Him. I also learn to be more caring and understanding of others. Despite his instances where I probably would've gotten mad, I learned from him to be more understanding and to be loving to my neighbors. I also learned to cherish my moments with my loved ones because we will never know what may happen next.

1. We can strengthen our Spiritual Immune system by always having faith on God, this faith should be dedicated from our hearts and mind. God has already given us his love, maybe right now, yesterday, or in the future? Even if we don't know when he gives us his love without positive changes in our lives due to him, we must still have faith in him and let him Love us fully for it to return, so that we can have a deep conversation with the Lord with an endless cycle of love. Sometimes the outcomes of certain scenarios will not go our way, but this is normal since it is not just God who is making the results of our life, it is us as well. It is our choice if we want an event in our lives to end happily or not, God has given us free will to choose, believing that we will do what is right. We must not put into haste our intentions and conversations with the Lord since the longer a relationship is, the more we learn and understand about a person, this includes our relationship with God. We must completely surrender to him since we trust him, have faith in him, have ope that he can help us in challenging times by being at our side, and give us an endless cycle of love.

In Brother Andreus's sharing, when his mother received cancer (I forgot slightly what sickness it was), he did everything he can to return the love his parents once gave him. That is why we can see a picture of him with his Parents and Wife in the picture above, to celebrate the new year with them, and since his mother is not allowed to intake the smoke of the fireworks or certain foods, instead of one big buffet style preparation, he invited them to a hotel and simple food she can eat since he loves her, and this is why when his mother passed away, it was a happy ending since he did everything he could to return the love he was once given when he was young, this is something we can do to truly show our love for our parents, which can also mean loving the Lord since our parents were our first teachers that showed what's right before entering schools.

2. One time my uncle who was fetching me starting at elementary to grade 8, passed away due to a sickness, so how did I received God's grace here? Well before he died we actually had a lot of memories together, like field trips, events at UST, he was there with me, staying by my side when needed. I can think of him as a hero, someone that showed me the more brighter side of life, all those memories helped me decide my intentions in his funeral to thank him for changing my life from a negative view to a positive view, I thank the Lord for making these happen, and hope that he has a good rest in heaven. During these pandemic and challenging times, I also receive God's grace by some arguments not escalating to a very violent level in my family, I'm glad that it is just proper short discussions that mean no harm, and also that I have the time to enjoy with my family during the pandemic. I also made some mistakes at the past that needed to be payed the price that I escaped for in the past thanks to the pandemic. I treat this however, as a way the Lord gave me another chance to redeem myself and not do these mistakes again and actually improve rather than ignore.

3. I really learned a lot in the Lenten Recollection and the sharing of Brother Andreus and his experiences, first of all is that by having faith in God anything is possible, he will guide us to make things we want and need possible. Next is to let that long relationship with God to stay, we need to have this connection to stay to help us improve day by day. His sharing also shows that we must return the love that we received from our parents, to create wonderful memories and have a happy ending even if they pass away. We also must take a different point of views into consideration on our lives, like how he met his wife at the bus. Like her when she was younger said to him that you don't need to do this or that haircut, but then later complimented that it looks good on you anyway. This definitely shows what considering point of view means from others. To show that we can improve ourselves by listening to the opinions of others. Negative or Positive. Overall I really loved his sharing. It was heartwarming, emotional, and inspiring. The true meaning we can get from here is that God will always be with us, God will always love us, God will always give his grace to us, and that is why we must Love him back, have freedom of love, and have faith in him. With him things that seem impossible become possible.

1. According to brother Andreus, God is good. It is the most common, yet overlooked by most people. That is because most people expect a utopian world where there are no problems and they can easily get what they want when they say God is good. But there will be disappointments and failures and unpleasantries that can almost make our lives hell. And alongside those are accomplishments and wins and pleasure that can make our lives paradise. When there is darkness, there will always be light. It will just depend on which side you look at it. And I choose to look at the brighter side.

2. We experience God's grace everyday. We might not know it yet, but waking up everyday, having a shelter, the sun shining are signs of God's grace. We might not know it now, but we will appreciate it once they are gone. And we will feel nothing but regret and longing for it. So we must appreciate it now before it is too late.

3. One of the main insights I got from the recollection is the refreshment about my morals. Sometimes I forget that God is good because of all the things that are happening to me. And after hearing the talk, it made me realize that no one can fully adore God. People will have some doubts towards Him, and it is about how they pulled through that doubt is what we admire the most about them. No one is perfect and will be knocked down, but if we are going to stand up again is up to us.
