I’ve always been fascinated by Peruvian sculptures and pottery, specially the ones from Chulucanas. I love the colors and texture of the clay once it turns into an art piece. Every time I travel to Piura, specially Catacaos, I see several of these sculptures, and I can’t resist from buying some of them. In fact, I have several at home, most of them are gifts but one of my favorite ones is the one I have on my living room between a mom and a daughter. It's handmade. It's built out of clay and different tones of painting. I bought it last year as a present to my mother. I’ve kept it ever since then. It’s a treasure to me.

- Maria

I've always been fascinated of the paintings of the renaissance. One of my favorite painting is the Monalisa. It was painted by Leonardo Da Vinci in 500 years ago in Italy. It was made by hand. This was a portrait of a Gioconda and L. Da Vinci never completed the picture. This is the reason why the Monalisa doesn't have eyebrows. My mother thinks the Monalisa is very awful but my father thinks the monalisa is<del> </del>unusual and fantastic. To me, is the most important painting in the world. The Monalisa kepts in the Louvre museum.

The mates are maden by hand with a “buril” that is like a needle, the Mates are used to show tradicional costums.
