For me, double or nothing on last year's theme and our building's new vision and mission means leading and modeling the internalization of what iBUILT stands for. (Even if it's uncomfortable and hasn't been done that way before.) I need to empower others to do the same, because I truly believe we are stronger and more creative together. Our students deserve it and their success depends on it!

For me, double or nothing means taking a chance. Taking a gamble. Pushing outside of where you are comfortable knowing that there is high reward on the other side. To me, there's no such thing as just "good enough" or "too risky" when it comes to our students and learners. I believe when we push past our comfort zone and take risks, the growth in our kids is the jackpot we are doubling down for.

For me, “double or nothing” means taking a chance — a bold gamble that pushes us beyond what is comfortable. There is a high reward waiting on the other side. When it comes to our students and learners, “good enough” or “too risky” simply don’t exist in my vocabulary. I believe that when we step out of our comfort zone and take courageous risks, the growth we see in our kids is the jackpot worth doubling down for.

To me this means EXTRA GRIT! This is when that last reserve nerve needs a Tylenol Extra strength.
