Tennis has never been a popular sport but in the 1920's it was one of the most decorated sports and activities. Much has changed since then in the game of tennis by having many new leagues and championships created, Such as the French open , U.S open and Wimbledon. a Player called William Tatem tilden aka " Big Bill" was one of the so-called fathers of tennis and he was one of the best players of all time and almost a founder you could say. Rackets and tennis balls used back then have been changed to be more efficient and useful. Also for this sport this was one of the first sports where women were allowed and noticed inside a game! Athletes such as helen wills and Susanne lenglen were among the first female tennis players and helped shape females sports.
