Unwritten lessons that teach students about societal expectations, authority, and social hierarchies. Schools reflect and reinforce societal structures. They act as agents of social control, ensuring students adopt behaviors and ideologies that sustain existing power dynamics. The economic system also plays a role—education systems are often designed to produce workers suited to different economic roles, maintaining social stratification. Additionally, cultural expectations shape curricula and teaching methods, perpetuating dominant ideologies.
