Justification: When the teacher reads the lesson objectives with the children, it is a sign that the teacher is being open, clear, and consistent about what will take place. This sort of predictability provides children with a sense of secure because they know what will happen next.

Noam Chomsky's theory of language acquisition suggests that humans are born with an innate tendency to acquire language using a hypothetical "Language Acquisition Device" (LAD) (Stanborough, 2019). When teachers clearly state their lesson objective, they create an environment conducive to language development.

Piaget's stages of cognitive development include how children begin using language and symbols to interpret the world, which gave the basis for understanding that language is a component of the cognitive process in early child development.

Stanborough, R. This domain is important because it affects our overall health and the ability to perform daily tasks.

Physical and Intellectual Development: Through the sensorimotor stage, Piaget posited that infants acquire knowledge and intellectually develop by virtue of their physical experiences in the world.
