Plead the 5th- gives you the right to not self incriminate yourself, meaning you don't have to testify to your actions and prove the case for the prosecutors. 4. Miranda warning- Police have to inform you, that you are under arrest and that you have the right to not say anything that could incriminate you. 5. It was made to protect freed slaves. It gives the definition of what a US citizen; If born in US you are a US citizen, it also stated once a citizens that citizenship could not be taken away (unless they lied to become a citizen), and freed slaves were granted US citizenship. 
~Privileges and Immunity given by the constitution can not be taken away by the states.
~Due process - this is for state governments. (5th amendment is Federal government)
~Equal protections- Civil rights for all no matter their race, religion, etc.
~States for the population count of House of Rep. that the 3/5ths rule is out all citizens are counted as a whole person.
~IF a person participates in a rebellion against the government they cannot hold a position in either the federal or state government.
