My interpretation of the first amendment right is that 1. we all have freedom of to say what we want or believe without being punished; with the exception it does not protect a person from being punished or fired by a company, that is the exception of the free speech. 2. The press has the right to write and publish news and stories without censuring them; except they can not publish lies about a person this can be punished in court and they can not plagiarize another persons work this too can be prosecuted in court. 3. The right to Assembly which is the right to a peaceful protest; permits maybe needed for large but they must be easy to obtain, and as long as peaceful the protest are allowed, this does not protect rioting or violence in this case you can be arrested. 4. The right to Petition the government allows us to bring complaints against the government if we feel we have been wronged and sue. 5. The freedom of religion this state that the government won't sponsor or restrict the peoples right to worship and practice their religion; the only restriction is on extreme practices such as human sacrificing or illegal drug use.

My interpretation of the second amendment is the 1. freedom to carry a gun or weapon; legally following laws like concealed carry this is a right. You have the right to own a gun or weapons within reason there are weapons that you are not allowed to own and over time limits are added to protect the people. 2. The right to a "well regulated" militia in order to protect the people; this does not mean putting together your own army but this was intended to help keep the people safe in times when Indian invasions or attacks were around.

My interpretation of the 4th amendment is by law the police or any type of law enforcement needs a probable cause and/or a warrant, which requires evidence of illegal activity prior, by judge to enter and search in your private home or property that is not visually viewable by the public, search your person, or items of your personal property and seizure of your property. There are some exceptions to this such in public schools they just need reasonable suspicion, in airports they have the right to search your belonging to protect the people flying, and police roadblocks on public roads in order to protect the public against drunk driving.

My interpretation of the 5th amendment is that 1. We have the right to a Grand Jury in severe crime accusations, which makes the law enforcement show they have enough evidence before a regular trial and indictment is held. 2. Double Jeopardy states you can't be charged twice for the same crime. 3. Plead the 5th- gives you the right to not self incriminate yourself, meaning you don't have to testify to your actions and prove the case for the prosecutors. 4. Miranda warning- Police have to inform you, that you are under arrest and that you have the right to not say anything that could incriminate you. 5. Due process- meaning that the accused have the right fair trial and all trials follow the same process. 6.Eminent Domain- the government can't take your property away without paying a fair price for the property.

My interpretation of the 6th Amendment is that 1. we all have right to a speedy trial, this is not given a specific time line but reads that the government should not delay needlessly, there has to be a valid reason for any and all delays. 2. Right to a public trial- meaning that it can't be done in secret this protects the accused in getting a fair trial. 3. Impartial jury- the right to a fair jury that is not bias; lawyers are allowed to interview jurist and are allowed to strike a juror from the trial. 4.Notice of Accusation- you have the right to be told what you are being accused of. 5. Right to Confrontation- you have the right to hear the people who are "witnesses" against you in court and your lawyer has the right to question them/ "confront". 6. Assistance to Counsel- you have the right to a lawyer and if you can't afford one, one will be appointed to you.

Civil cases- this allows people to sue corporations, other people, employers, etc that they believe wronged them or are liable for the injury, loss, or injury inflicted upon them or in deciding who is held responsible in an accident or other situation. 2. The right to trial by jury- a group of people who decide if you are guilty or not versus just a judge, 3. Must be lawsuit must be more than 20 dollars to be heard in federal court; today it's 75,000 dollars.

Bail allows an individual out of jail for a price while waiting for the trial. 2. The right that the fines not be excessive; the fine should fit the crime. 3. Cruel and unusual punishment is not allowed, this makes sure that are human rights are observed, prohibiting them from doing something like cutting your hands off if caught shoplifting.
