Its main function is to remove material and create cylindrical objects like shafts, screws, or custom metal parts. Operating a lathe involves several steps. First, the workpiece is securely mounted in the chuck. Next, the cutting tool is adjusted according to the required shape. Then, the machine is turned on, and the tool is gradually moved against the rotating workpiece to cut material. Finally, after achieving the desired shape, the machine is turned off, and the part is removed. Throughout the process, the operator must wear safety gear and carefully monitor the tool movements to ensure accuracy and safety.

My name is The Anh – an engineer in ABC Company. Today, I am going to make a report about the incident I witnessed at our workplace last week. The injured is Peter-a welding engineer at welding shop. He is 27 years old. He has worked in our company for 3 months. The incident took place at 8.30 am on May 30th and at workshop 1. When He was welding, he didn’t open his eyes , his eyes hurt and his hand got burnt as well .After an initial investigation, I discovered that he forgot to wear a proper welding helmet and a pair of welding gloves. To prevent similar occurrences, I suggest our company should create a company handbook listing out all safety rules related to welding in the workplace.

I want to work as a lead engineer at a company specializing in smartphone like Samsung Company. I’m really interested in working here because I really like health insurance package offered to employees including 6-month maternity leave. I also have a chance to gain 10-50% of annual salary in a bonus payment based on my performance. Besides, flexible hours are necessary to me. I can start work at 9 a.m and leave my office earlier to pick my children from school when I have a family. If I am allowed to work here, I would like to have at least 2 weeks of vocation a year so that I can spend time enjoying wonderful moments with my family or colleagues and leave deadlines or pressure at work behind. In addition, I want to work in dynamic and international working environment where I could learn a lot from friendly co-workers and professional managers. What is the most important for me to choose a working place is that it can offer me a good opportunity for promotion and career development as long as I work hard and show a good performance. I am The Anh I am 21 years old. I have a bachelor's degree in mechatronics engineering at Hanoi University of Industry. I am passionate about designing and I have been working in this field for nearly 5 years why I want to apply for the position of a CAD leader. As I heard before, your company is a high-volume automotive manufacturer, and has been the first ever to participate in a major international motor show. In the past, I used to work as a mechanical design engineer for ABC Company for 3 years. I worked on designing processes which involved 3D, 2D CAD Design and BOM. Nowadays our environment is very polluted I would like to mention some solutions as a normal citizen and a mechatronic engineer to protect it.

First of all, we can protect the environment by the smallest activities in our daily life. For example, we can save electricity by turning off the lights whenever we don’t need. Secondly, we should travel by public transport or walk as we can instead of using our own vehicles. Furthermore, we should limit the use of plastic bags. Besides, we use clean water for the right purpose.

In the next place, as a mechatronic engineer in the future I think I should design machines using renewable resources. In addition, I should do some seminars in rural areas and rural schools about the use of clean fuel and avoid cutting down trees for cooking fuels.

In conclusion, I think we should do any of the above mentioned to protect our environment.

A machine using alternative energy I know is solar water heating system. It uses solar energy to heat water. It consists of a flat plate solar collector, A storage tank kept at a height behind the collector, connecting pipes, a Boiler, a pump and a controller. Solar Water Heater comprises an array of solar collectors. The system is installed on the roof or open ground and connected to a continuous water supply. Water gets heated which is pumped or flown automatically to the boiler. The water stored in the tank remains hot overnight. It has many pros. Firstly; it helps save electricity and money about 1,500 units of electricity a year. Secondly, it’s non-polluting and safer than electric water heater. However, it has some negative points. The first disadvantage is that we have to use acids to remove scale deposition. Another drawback is that it isn’t used if there’s no sunlight. A huge con is that we need to repaint the surface and the system every 2-3 years. Its price is dependent on many things. It costs at least 10 million dong.
