I am the father of John Smith. I understand that there may be some problem. I am in Complete understanding that the transition to Middle School can be quite a life changing and difficult time for our kids. But I am way more than concerned about a certain aspect in my child's education. 
It has come to my attention that not only my son but many others have expressed concerns about your class. My son has always been a VERY good student, His record shows that,  and now all of a sudden he just doesn't want to go to certain classes. I have heard that this is not the first time or just a few students or parents to raise concern. I am not passing any judgement , But I have heard it from many. Including a few of your Administrators. 
I have emailed his guidance counselor and waiting on a reply . I think I need to meet with you and maybe see about changing his "team" . I am only concerned about my son and want the best for him. I choose Northwest Middle even though we live in the LakeView Middle area. As a matter of fact, I can throw a rock to Lake View. Literally , It's right across the street!!!! 
What do I need to do to get him switched to a different "team" ? Or do I need to know of a different problem that I am not aware of? Maybe my son is making this up. But I have to go with what he says for now. I have heard the same thing from others.
