Colonial Williamsburg was very interesting through these chapters. Everything was organized so neatly. Like the wren building and the middle passage. But I don't like the slavery that was there, and how all of the slaves there were enslaved. All the whites have a fun and happy life, but the slaves justed worked sunup to sundown. So I don't like the life of a slave, so I most probally won’t live there.
In reasons, this would be #1: Don’t like slaves
#2: I Don’t want to go to church when I grow up.
#3: I don’t want that much religion.

I would not like to live in the colonial times. First of all I would not have the freedom. As a women I would not be able to go to real school, let alone college. I would be expected to be a proper perfect lady that I am not. Second of all slavery. Slavery is something I am strongly against and being in the times of slavery and just seeing it and not being able to stop all of it would be unbearable. Last but not least I would not have religious freedom. One of the main reasons I take pride in my country today is that we have religious freedom. Back then I wouldnot have the most religious freedom I could have. These are the reasons I would not want to live to colonial times.

I would never want to live in colonial Virginia. One reason is that I would either be a slave and feel bad for myself and not be able to do anything or be a girl with no rights and owned like property and not be able to have proper education. Plus even of I was a boy I would never learn as much as I know now. I have read in a book that back then people used to eat eel pie and corn cobs instead of toilet paper. Shoes also used to be so painful back then. There were no left or right. These are just a few reasons that I would not like to be living in Colonial Virginia.
