I had a discussion with my new early years mentor and she was discussing that for the majority of the children will need their writing scribed. (They draw a picture and I write what they say to me underneath that). As you were saying in the lecture that scribing could be bad for the children I am just concerned that 1. Having to go round the whole class and scribe all of their writing and what the children can do while they are waiting and 2. What kind of learning objectives they will get out of that if I am scribing for them. Thanks.
