My name is Nalea Nitta and I am currently a  junior at Kamehameha Schools Maui.  I, along with my partners, Labryana Hoʻokano and Jadelyn Keomaka, are embarking on our design thinking senior project.  Design thinking is a “human-centered” and systematic approach that utilizes empathy to create innovative solutions for a defined need. This involves partnering with an organization that is important to us, identifying a need, thinking of creative solutions, designing prototypes, and testing solutions. 

Our group’s passion for the ocean and ocean sports, such as surfing and bodyboarding is what drove us to your company.  It would be a great opportunity to work with an organization such as yours to work towards a specific goal in hopes to learn and gain experience, and build community.
