People need to have a bit more respect for our amazing country, even with "black and colored people being oppressed". It should also be a rule to have to stand for the anthem. I'm still wondering why people believe colored people are oppressed, if anybody has an example I'd like to hear it.

I think that, in response to Ryan's post, the colored people have been disrespected by the people of this country so if they feel that they don't have to stand for the anthem, they may feel that they are treating the country the way the country has treated them.

I agree with Ryan, I really think that guy just looked at the statistics taken out of context and said "oh gee colored people are arrested more and have a lesser chance to get a job, that must mean that everyone is racist". Colored people were oppressed over a century ago, and America had one of the least period of slavery, unlike many other countries where slavery is still a thing. That athlete should speak for himself, America is giving him an opportunity to be in one of the most paid job. If he's so oppressed, why does he earn MILLIONS OF DOLLARS, maybe more than this entire school is worth. Please. He should respect this country for at least for that. I'm done. You can call me racist and kill me with stones for the sake of "free speech".

I completely understand both sides of the argument, but there's something I want to make clear. Obviously the NFL players are living a very comfortable life, but they're not standing up for themselves. They're standing up (or kneeling down) for others who they think are being oppressed. I personally think it's bad to disrespect the country's flag, but I also understand the other side of the argument. -Ian

I agree with Ryan. If you feel like your so "oppressed" just look at your own life. More than likely your fine and especially for a football player who makes Millions of dollars a year your living a great and easy life. I think it's kind of Stan Hays and the other hundreds of volunteers to help all the people that had to go through a disaster and give warm meals to them.

The drone taxi sounds really cool because it can fly and use a GPS system to find the place you are going to but it sounds a bit sketchy that theres only been one passenger and still no one else has tried it.

I think that the taxis are creative and have potential, but weather can be unpredictable so there is a high likelihood for disaster. Also there is the possibility the drones would run into uncharted things such as construction, or other drones.

I think the BBQ relief was a great help to the survivors affected by natural disasters. The drone taxi I am not sure about. I think it is n innovative idea but what happens if two drone taxis run into each other mid-air. In CNN 10 it doesn't say anything about counter-measures or any reaction system to other objects.

It comes from the users themselves most of the time, car accidents happen if the user doesn't pay attention to the surroundings or is drunk, planes break either because of disasters or because of the problem in the plane itself, in which situation you're right.

True, that would be horrible, but if all humans become extinct, quite a lot of problems be fixed/prevented. Global warming, extinction of a ton of other species that humans kill for money, pollution of all sorts. Eventually the next dominating species will appear.
