Pi is a young man who survives a shipwreck with someone named Richard Parker as known as his tiger. They both are stranded on a lifeboat. They are there for 227 days. When Pi was alone in the middle of the ocean he would write in his journal. It helped Pi be sane and occupied as he is away from his family. Pi found a way communicating with himself. Writing in a journal is good for people who are alone. It helped Pi keep track of the dates and days, his feelings, and events that have happened.

First of all, when pi was alone in the middle of the ocean, Everyday, he would write in his journal of all the dates. It helped him remember what happened that specific day. Pi didn't think he would ever survive so he made the best out of what dates and days he wrote. He now looks at it as something crazy and incredible. He and Richard were alone for 227 days. Everyday for Pi was something he needed to write about.

Second, Pi wrote about his feelings. He was sad that he maybe would never see his family again. Pi had a friend named Richard Parker (tiger). Pi wasn't alone as Richard was keeping him company. Pi's feelings was something he i always wrote about. He communicated and talked to Richard as he was a human being. Pi's feelings were sad and depressed. His family probably thinks he is dead and Pi thinks he will never be able to see them ever again.

Last of all, Pi had wrote about events that have happened in his journal. Many things have happened when Pi was stranded. It's devastating to be alone like he was. Something that has happened I "Life Of Pi" was that Pi got temporarily blind and loses his mind. Pi starts to go insane and starts talking to Richard Parker about all the foods they could eat. At this point Pi needs to communicate with a real person so he does with himself by writing in his journal.

In conclusion Pi was eventually found and was rescued. He now had his journal saying his dates and days, what his feelings were, and events that had happened as he was stranded. 227 days was a long time being stranded but he survived. Writing in his journal helped Pi with communicating with himself when he needed to. It was hard for him knowing no actual human being was there but a Tiger who he did care about and talked to. In the end Pi told his story and will always remember what his journal says.

Writing in a journal is a gr8 thing for ppl to do. It shows your emotions nd you are communicating with yourself. Pi only had a tiger with him but that's not enough. Pi to me, was a smart person he went a wittle insane but its understandable. Forever Pi will remember his journey nd his 227 of being stranded will always be aprt of Pi
