In 2024, the technology improves human life as it is a very useful tool in different aspects. In particular, the use of electronic devices improves the care of people health. Also, online education platforms are an opportunity for people who can’t go to school.

First of all, smartwatches can measure vital signs as blood oxygen saturation, electrical signal of the heart, heart rate, and respiratory rate, among others. This facilitates the communication in real time of data with healthcare professionals. For example, The Apple Watch Series 6 allows reliable data to be obtained in people with lung diseases (Arnaert et al., 2023).

Secondly, online education platforms have videos and exercises on different topics. This makes it easier for students to learn. For example, Khan Academy is free and has an artificial intelligence that answers questions of students (Braun, 2023).

Third, incorrect use of technology has risks. This facilitates the violation of human rights. For example, criminals can carry out fraud or authoritarian governments can look out people (Braun, 2023).

Finally, technology is a tool that can be beneficial or harmful. For this reason, it is important to use technology ethically and responsibly. Technology is also a very useful tool because it provides opportunities and optimizes processes.
