The person who actually killed people out of the two was Doug Clark. He was the third son of five children and was described to be a 'military brat' due to his father's position. He graduated in 1967 and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He later moved to LA and became a steam plant operator. The other accomplice, Carol Bundy, had a troubled childhood. Both of her parents were abusive alcoholics. Her father eventually remarried but put Bundy into multiple foster homes. When she was 17 she married a 56-year-old man. She would go onto have two more husbands, all those marriages would end in divorce as well.

At first, Bundy would simply bring sex workers back with her to Clark so that they could all have threesomes. But their motives turned dark extremely quickly. Clark took an interest in his 11-year-old neighbor, so Bundy lured her over to his house. They would then lure her into taking pornographic pictures. Clark's interests became even more depraved. He told Bundy that he wanted to kill a woman during sex, persuading Bundy to purchase two handguns for him to use. The two of them have killed a confirmed 6 people, but there is a possibility that there were more. Their method of killing would often lead to the victims being decapitated

Every single one of the victims was a young woman. Their names were, Valencia Does, Marnette Comer, Gina Narano, Cynthia Chandler, Karen Jones, and lastly Exxie Wilson. With the exception of one who was a young man by the name of Jack Murray. Clark had a type, which were young prostitutes since they were easy to lure back and were willing to engage in sexual activities. Bundy would go out and get these people interested in having sex with her and Clark. They would go with her to a motel where they would meet their end. All of them were lured under the presumption of having sexual relations and they were all shot using the handguns previously mentioned as well as decapitated in some way shape or form. All of the female victims were or are under the assumption to have been unfortunately raped by Clark before and after their deaths.

As previously stated, both Clark and Bundy have twisted minds. Clark stated that the reason he would kill girls while having sex with them was due to him wanting to feel their convulsions after they died. He had absolutely zero remorse for his actions and took great pleasure in performing these despicable acts. No normal person thinks like this or does these kinds of things. He is simply a sick individual. Bundy also displayed extremely evil behavior. She encouraged the things they were doing and was the person leading the victims back to Clark. She also reportedly told police during an interrogation that she began to put makeup on one of the victim's decapitated heads that was stored in a fridge. She even seemed proud of the act and claimed that she made her "all pretty like a doll."
