I thought that if I lived somewhere like Quill, I would be an unwanted. I was surprised that the man waved his hand and color appeared. Does that mean that they are dead? I felt happy for Meghan and wondered how I would react if I found out I would be reunited with someone that I thought had died. I think I would be overcome with all kinds of emotion.]]> 2017-03-14 17:35:14 UTC https://padlet.com/jrahn4/ylcg189v8ucy/wish/160057349 jrahn4 https://padlet.com/jrahn4/ylcg189v8ucy/wish/160058036 All of the children learned that they had rooms in the boys' and girls' hallways.  They moved to their own rooms that called out as they moved down the halls.  Inside the rooms were items that were related to each child's talent.  When Alex finally found his room, he discovered it was filled with art supplies.  He also found out he had a blackboard that talked just to him and a tube that would transport him around the land of Artime.  His art lessons started soon with Ms. Octavia who taught him how to draw and paint.

I think it would be shocking to kids who were taught to hide their creativity to suddenly be asked to use it on a regular basis. ]]> 2017-03-14 17:37:21 UTC https://padlet.com/jrahn4/ylcg189v8ucy/wish/160058036 jrahn4 https://padlet.com/jrahn4/ylcg189v8ucy/wish/160058845 It didn't take long for Alex to notice that Will Blair and Samheed watched him a lot.  He also noticed that other students were moving beyond their regular training in the arts and were receiving magical warrior training.  He waited and waited for the day his own training would start, but it seemed like he was the only one of his friends that didn't get the start.  Lani took advantage and played magical tricks on Alex to the point that he stopped going to lunch and dinner.  He spent much of his time alone.
