1: people don’t go to cinema as much because of online media services such as Netflix, amazon prime as it is more accessible at home 

2; online streaming services such as Netflix and amazon prime and Hulu, are a lot more accessible to watch movies at home, Netflix used to be a service where they would rent out dvds now it is as simple as pressing play on any movie on a device. 

3: now there is no advertisement on streaming services (Netflix ) which is harder for other services to advertise their services which makes trying to find the funds for making the movies
